My cubic inches per cylinder match almost identically to the 5.0. I have a 2.4L 4, so I would have the same problem if what you say is the reason for engine failure.

i was making close to 550rwhp w/ a supercharged setup on my stock 302 block

now spraying it w/ a 200shot

13.2 not worth it for me...run my boys stock 5.0 with just header back, and gears! its my old car just sold it...i will drive it if you would like!!

Hmm, what do you run with the blown 'stang if I may ask? I can't imagine it's stock save for the blower if it runs better than a 13.2 (which is my old personal best). And what is done to it besides the blower?

88gt i got a all motor 92 ill line up with you right now since your n/a.. headers, intake and bad egr

and yeah whitefiveoh he's right about the forged pistons..as much as id like to back ya up

they are all forged EXCEPT 93. maybe 88-89 are stronger, but 87-92 were forged

it went to the hyp. piston to change the compression for emmission reasons
