I dunno man....maybe you should look for a 2005 Mustang GT instead....I think that's a much better starting point for your project......

Its gonna be cheaper and you'll be better off just buying a 03+ cobra, it'll be less hassle man

blowers arent cheap plus all the supporting mods then tuning, plus all the driveline componentd arent made to handle that power. so when its all said and done you could have bought a cibra had a way better car, but will be stuck with a blown gt

Well, these are my calculations:
04 Mustang GT, Excellent Shape $15k + Supercharger $5000 (including supporting modifications, FPR, Injectors, etc) So around $20k for this mustang, probably a little more though, but thats about right 04 Mustang Cobra GT, Excellent Shape, $24k Now, your setup will be a little cheaper, but the Cobra has the blower from the factory, is actually pretty reliable when driven normally and dealers/shops are more likely to work on a car that is not as modified as yours may be after the conversion but what do I know, I'd rather spend a little more for something that is long-term made to last with the blower setup [edit] forgot to mention, I shoulda said it before, but I meant 'cheaper' in the long-term sense. plus you have higher re-sale value

I was thinking the same thing in terms of price.
And Intercooled T already stated the reliability factor (and resale is a very good point.) I’d spend the few extra grand and get the real deal. Click Here

TST Ruined My Life!

My buddy did what your talking about doing. Just go buy a cobra, Hes faster then a cobra but spent a lot more money doing it and still isnt finished. Once stuff starts breaking you will understand. One thing will lead to another in the GT and you will end up spending a good bit of money more then a cobra. The reliability and out of the box performance is enough to make you spend a little more money up front to get the cobra.

I also remember reading about a certain TST member who owned a 2005 GT (I think it was an 05), Supercharged it and blew the block in less than a month......
