the biggest advantage of the hatches is the light weight, but i like having a nice quiet comfortable car, rather then that go kart like feel lol

+1, that's why I'm thinking now that I'll keep the si as my comfortable car and have a hatch just for fun

Someone MASSIVELY door dinged my car

I can see it from my house when the car is parked on the street. I actually thought it got hit until I realized it was hit in the same points twice down the door. Paint transfer and everything. Of course, they got it right where there's a huge crease, too, on the quarter. I don't know if paintless dent removal will be able to get it out

I'm seriously so pissed off about it. After jenn.'s hit and run last week (she's got the 99 si) and now this, I'm ready to sit in a parking lot and just make sure people leave notes when they door ding other people's cars, or I will personally see to it to get their license plate. I know it sounds ridiculous, but I'm so down for some retributive justice.

I'm just sick of people damaging my **** and me CONSTANTLY having to pay for it. I don't have the money to keep fixing things that are not my fault over and over and over.

The pictures don't really show the damage, it was hard to get a shot with my camera but in person its super noticeable all down the quarter.

First point of contact:

Second point of contact:

I KNOW! It feels like an impossible task. I don't know why people keep hitting my car, though. I don't get it.

Shhhhh. Be sure not to tell anyone on tst that we live together and that you've already seen the damage!

Dang Jen. You have the same luck with body damage that I do with motors and problems lol.

Nah I'm sorry. That really sucks. I bet josh and the guys at LIP can hook it up hopefully.

I'm sorry to hear about the hit.

Haha yeah. I don't get it though, the car is BRIGHT blue! For real what's up with bad luck cars?!

If the damage isn't something that paintless dent removal can take care of, then I will definitely be calling Josh @ LIP. They are the only body shop I trust with my car anymore.

Nah, definitely looks like a door hit it when you get up close. Looks like whoever did it just swung their door wide open without any real concern for anything else, including my car. It really makes the car look terrible though. It's super noticeable.

**** people. i was at the mall one time, about to get out of my car when a lady pulls up beside me. she kicked her door open into the side of my door so hard she dropped her cell phone she was talking on. i went nuts on that lady. all she did was laugh, pick her phone up and walk away. people have no respect for anything now a days and think it's ok not to.

WTF, seriously?! Stories like that make me furious. Did you get her plate or pimp slap her or anything?! I probably need anger management, but if someone did that to my car and then LAUGHED, I think I would lose it on them. I would be so over the top that I would file an accident report with the police for a door ding, or I would try anyway LOL.

.... I just lost it. That is the funniest **** I've ever seen. Sig'd.

It's even more funny because when this all happened, I was literally screaming in the car at Dave that I was going to go around with a "retributive justice" hammer and the next person I saw door ding a car, I was going to have to ding their car back. But this is so much better. Gets the point across much more clearly!
