Some photos of lightening from todays storm

Nothing too amazing just messing around trying to get some pics.

Let me know what you think.

cool pics but I feel like they would be much better if you went somewhere else to watch the storm/get pics like a field or something. The last one is sweet

same way i got teh blurred traffic look behind some of the pics of my sti, full manual and you have to adjust the iso and aperture till you can get enough light in and not over expose it. The longer you hold the shutter speed the brighter your pictures will come out. Also if you camera has auto focus youll prolly have to turn it off or the camera will constantly try to focus. Not a expert on this at all but its what i figured out so far lol and btw you will need a tripod. I took 256 pics last night and kept those 5....its all about timing as well with lightening as you could imagine lol

you camera may have an option for continuous focusing. i know mine does, i would think this may be a normal feature o_0

It constantly tries to focus and i had to turn it off in order to actually take a pic because it would be continuously focusing, but i am new to my camera and might not know some things.
