Getting a Christmas tree with style!
I edited a few more, so here they are. copied from my corvette forum post..... don't mind my disclaimer some of those guys just do no like the idea f a corvette in the snow with a tree on the roof! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Firstly, I understand that many of you may frown upon that way the I use and drive my car. However, I bought it to enjoy it and that I do. The car is well cared for, it just happens to be used. It is my daily driver, has 90K miles, and is no show car. I live in an area where snow is regular in the winter, and the vette is a much better choice than my miata to get my errands done. Yesterday a few friends and I had a good time, and at the end of the day set up my tree. enjoy...or cry, whichever you prefer And right before I parked her for the day, she's a champ. p.s. i'm no redneck, im actually far from it......I just thought taking the vette in the snow for a tree would make this year much more memorable. Hi-res versions are on my flickr page. -Jason

how did it drive, i had to make it home in my mustang in the snow. it was terrible, i was fine at 1/8 throttle in a really high gear, low rpms. Just had to play it safe but i almost got stuck on a hill, starting from a stop at the bottom of a hill is the worst.

Total win. Eff the naysayers. Probably a bunch of old dudes with carpeted garages that buy stock in Meguires. Old ass losers. Its your car and you enjoy it. I would make one of those pics your avatar on the Vette forum just so they don't forget how awesome your car is with a tree on top.

You sir, are the man.
I drive my car through mud with wreckless abandon and get scolded. I can only imagine what people say to you after seeing these photos. Seriously it's a car, what is the point in having it if you're not going to DRIVE it? |

Did the people at the tree place make this face when you strapped it to the roof?

the guy at the tree place told me that he was glad to see that some people still know how to live life!
some of the vette guys love me, some of them want to hang me. i'm just a car guy, that thinks every car should be driven. They weren't designed to sit around and collect dust. My realistic life goals include buying a Ferrari 355 on my 30th birthday...and you better believe that if that day comes, that car will see snow as well.
