No I wouldn't be for this kind of event. I'll have to see what my plans consist of because I think this is the same weekend as the Dutch Classic at Maple Grove and I go to that about every year.

It's always an excuse. My camaro has been sitting for the last 1.5 years. It's come out once during that span for the Pinks thing and off the trailer, 11.70 and 11.68. All I did was change the oil and add some tranny fluid. Anyways you know bracket racing is my thing.

Rob, We can all dial in at 11.6, I wont have to buy C16 and worry about cage. Even though bracket is NOT my thing. Sooo change the plugs this time and put it on the trailer and you'll run 11.60 all day for sure.

Haha Mike I know what you are talking about with the cage. I don't want to be going any faster in my camaro so I don't have to put a roll bar in.

Ok few questions

1) Does you car have to be insured or inspected
2) How well do they check your car over? I have a battery box in the trunk, but maple grove told me to race i need a cut off switch, but let me go anyways.
3) How much is it?
4) What if we dont know what it runs... if I get my fuel pump in I'll be boosting 15 psi, far from 6 when I went last time with no 1st gear and pretty much grenaded trans and ran a 14.013 @ 103 with almost 2.9 60 fts.

It depends on the type of event. Sanctioned events are different than a regular test and tune night. I ran 10.60's / 135+mph with no cage,on street tires, and an expired harness on test and tune street car weds. at Lebanon valley. So you can get away with some stuff sometimes. But an event like this I'm sure tec will be a little tougher.

Street car classes may require registration and inspection. I know at you don't need a registration for race car events. I made my licensing passes with an un-registered purpose built drag car.

all safty rules will be strick to follow NHRA rules street calss they do not require you to have registration and inspection. If you get caught going 11.49 or quicker with out a cage you will be in the stands watching. I race at atco alot and tech is leanent sometimes but with that et and speed do expect them to its there job to make sure just incase everyone will be safe

All nhra tracks around here will warn you to slow down if you go 10s or over 130 without a cage, and if you do it again then they kick you out. BTW, I don't think I'll make this one. I have to wait for one part for rear diff from Japan. One advantage for dometic, they always have parts for pinto. haha(Rocket) J/K
