Beg to differ... 1st Corolla I had... got it for $900... I beat the piss out of it until the trans died. That motor STILL ran great. IT RUNS BETTER THAN THE ONE I BOUGHT FOR MY BROTHER.

Looking at this tomorrow. She bit for $1100. If I like it, I am going to buy it on the spot if it is legit. Do I need to do anything special when purchasing a car in PA to be used in NJ?

So true...i bought a topaz years back for 400, got the car not running. did the fluids/valve cover gasket/tune-up/trans pan/axles/tps... spent about 300 total on parts and then drove it for 2 years commuting to work. old fords=cheap. ended up selling the car for 500 and last i checked it was still on the road

The first 240 I bought cost me $1900.
Aside from regular maintenance: brakes, clutch, Oil Change, etc it never gave me any problems. To be honest, my BMW has probably given me more headaches than that 240 did.

For those that don't know....the 240 is GONE! Sad to see her go, but got a better new project to work with!
Have a good day everyone!
