OK . . . the un-build has started!
The timing covers on the passenger side have small cracks and the exhaust headder barely came into contact with the front subframe. I was extreamly lucky to have the kind of damage recived in a crash at 40-45mph. There are a few other lil bits that where lost too PS resivar rad fans ...ect . . . . MORE PIC"S COMMING . . . . . soon! |

don't do it. just get an STI instead. You'll have a NEW car with more power then your current car plus a factory warranty. Trust me you don't want to be driving around in a repaired "modified" car. Now is your chance to get out of it and start something new and better...

Ummm thats the problem just buy the car fast, no no no no that is the boring way of doing it. and you dont get an satisfaction out of it, nothing is better than having a sick car and when people say "oh thats sick, what shop did it?" and you say "No shop i do all my own stuff." And they usually look at you like a god. Buy an STi, STis are for people, who want to spend wayyy to much money on a car and say ahhhh yeah its an sti. Rebuliders are people who like to buy cars and put money in then and stand in the face of STi buyers and oh i have a WRX and it will smoke the **** out of you and it looks wayy better, Oh and i spent waaayyyy lesss than you. HAHA sorry for the hate but im just tired of most higher end car drivers (STis in this case) thinking their sh** doesnt stink and they are just the best cause they spent wayyyy to much on a car. and also some WRX drivers thinkin that their car will never be as good as a STi, that is not true, keep your head up and keep workin and you will have way more satisfaction and a better car. alright im done lol

why? because the car was in an accident thats why. I don't care who does the work or what a shop tells you, it will NEVER be the same car as before the accident. Trust me I speak from experience on this one. There will be rattling, squeaking, leaking, uneven tire wear, mis-aligned parts, mismatched paint... and thats just after you put it back together.

Sounds like you have an issue with new cars, maybe thats because you can't afford one so you have no choice but to hate. I don't if thats accurate or not but I don't own an STI or WRX and you couldn't pay me to get either... thats not here or there though. What I do know is that anyone who would rather take an older car with 'modifications' done to it over a new car with a warranty and MORE power needs to get there head checked.
Coming from someone who has modified cars for the last 10 years with turbos, direct port n2o systems, SC's, engine rebuilds and basically everything you can do PLUS I race all my cars I would still rather have a NEW car over an older modified one. they are less likely to brake, have better engineering behind them, come with a factory warranty and most importantly are VERY RELIABLE. Show me a modified car that falls in that catagory. You can't because once you modify a car, to the point Adam's car is, you lose the reliability factor amoung other things. Quote:

then u might as well pull your skirt up and get out of the modifying scene
cause as soon as u do somethin to a new car with warrenty u pretty much lose it
