How are German cars built?

My brother sent me this link. I think this was taken in the 80's.

A good friend of mine used to work for Honda in Ohio, and he told me the hammer handle in the door slam is a common practice to align body panels FWIW

I know that BMW's and Merc's were very reliable until today. They are decreasing in reliability.

its not realy as bad as i say. i just wish it was a little nicer. i need 2 pass side doors, a rear bumper and a few little here and there things. not to mention its got 184k on it.

does anyone know if my clutch cable can be adjusted? the clutch isnt slipping but it doesnt catch till the pedal is almost all the way out

lots of service records, its just that the bumper has a "stress" mark in the paint and for the 2 doors they are just not something i feel like taking the dents / door dings out of

that's just a VW clutch, mine has done the same thing since the day it was new.
