VW disgraces yet another stoic moniker
http://www.vwvortex.com/artman/publi...cle_2235.shtml Yup, but at least we wont have to bear to look at it in the U.S. just yet. Like the mkV golf, vw pukes out another hideous blob that resembles a 7/8th scale minivan and is just as bloated. Ok, maybe i'm not being fair enough to the golf, for at least it's front end is somewhat decent looking, unlike this mundane mess. 93 93/93 |

Coolish, but it's still a Volkswagen.

The interior looks ancient. The seats look like a spitting image of the C3 corvette interior. As far as the exterior the grill is winning me over, but I do like the lines of the car.

Never said they're crap, just ugly except for the front end. Lets not confuse opinion for objectivity now. I'll never forget the time I was in the staging lane at englishtown and looking ahead at the minivan/suv thing in front of me thinking "Cool, a toureg is running". Then I realized it was a mkV golf. From a completely unbiased perspective, I think this rendition of the scirocco is simply mundane looking, purism does'nt come into play here(though I will admit to being a purist in some aspects). 93 93/93 |

I'm not crazy about the front end, but the back end and interior, are great and I'm almost certain the driving experience would win me over completely. Gotta make sure never to drive one.

Not feeling it. The last version I think was the best looking.

just saw the new Rocco on Top Gear this week. It looks pretty good, but it irritates me that it doesn't even seem like they TRIED to make it look anything like the original. The only similarity they have is that they're both hatchbacks. I hate when they revive an old name with something that doesn't look anything like its predecessor.
