Atco has an NHRA event from thursday till sunday so no test and tune then.

Dude i would be down to bring my vette but i'm broke as a joke until Thursday

Long as ic an find someone to give a hand ill hopefully have my truck together next week. and ill bring it up to see if all this work was worth a damn lol

changing a fuel pressure regulator to a better unit (harder then it sounds) also doing a full egr delete and replacing basically my upper intake (Y-bridge) and passenger side boost tube.

Its a PITA job plus my lazy ass has been putting it off. trying to get my buddy nick or someone to come down and give me a hand...I NEED MOTIVATION! haha.

and i think after that im gonna try a meth kit just for ****s... (another way for me to delay the turbo swap haha)

meth! so its safe to say youre on the stock turbo? whats the max amount of boost you can get out of a stock turbo?

Yep still stock turbo and fuel system -minus a low pressure lift pump.

Right now in 5th gear I'm pushing 40psi. which is "not recommended" but hey, I'm pretty deep into the fastest stock turbo list so you gotta do what ya gotta do ;)

Honestly I would rather be around 35-36 psi through all the gears just so i'm not super heating the air so badly, but since my map sensor cant read any higher then 29psi and i'm dealing with this piece of **** VGT turd its not possible to get the boost you need int he lower gears and not over-boost once the engine load is increased. Not without cutting out the stock MAP and adding a fancy new one.

Yea lol. When I get the hx52 on 55+ psi shouldn't be a problem. And it will
be cooler air becuase it will actually still be in it's map

niiiceeee. a buddy of mine has a duramax and thinks hes going to run 13's on a 37" tall tire. boost is turned up (not sure how much though) maybe in the 25-30# range? also has an intake exhaust and efi live tune. is that possible?

well depending on the year stock boost is 22-27 or so psi,.. It's totally possible but hes probably going to need a lift pump to hit 13's ( i got to 13.7 without one on stock tires) He's also probably going to fry his trans trying but hey you gotta pay to play lol.

Is it black? i might of talked to the kid at atco once or twice
