wisdom teeth

about a year or so ago the dentist told me i will need my wisdom teeth pulled, i said ok? well about 6 months ago the one on top came through, didnt hurt too bad, well last night the bottom one came through and it hurts like a mother ****er, i been putting getting them pulled off for as long as possible, but i think getting them pulled with be alot less pain than what im feeling now, my bottom one gets rubbed around by my top jaw it feels like, i have all kinds of ulcers, my tongue hurts, and its bothering my right ear. it sucks i cant eat anything, and eating thanksgiving dinner is gonna suck.

now my question, how do they pull them out, my dad is telling me since they arent impacted they just grip them and yank them out, im thinking they will need to slice the gum, or do they drill my gums up? how long does it usually take to take one of these teeth out? hopefully i wont feel a god damn thing, and ill get my ipod and listen to island in the sun the whole time.

im just getting the novocaine, im not a big fan of drugs, i probably wont feel too much pain, i just dont want to smell burning flesh that i hear about.

i had eight teeth pulled at once to prepare for braces, something like 4 wisdom and my 4 fang teeth....they hit me up with the novocaine and i was high as **** when the dude was just pullin um out one by one with pliers im guessin...didnt even hurt. I look back on that and cringe cuz its nasty to think about, but u shouldn't worry, u'll be aight.

i can just imagine ill be in there and the dentist will have his foot on my forehead trying to pull out my tooth with channel locks.

im just gonna go with a wife beater on and get all crazy, have old ladies in the waiting room punch me in the chest to get me psyched

i had 6 pulled... they gave me medicine and told me to start counting back from 100. needless to say, i didn't make it to 90. Woke up an hour later with my mouth swollen and drowsy

you shouldve checked to see if your clothes were still on the same way lol jk. i had a tooth pulled and same with me i woke up and everything was peachy keen .

Well at least your doctor won't be using rusty pliers to pull pins out of your arm.

Which by the way hurts like a mother ****er when they pull them out, and I didn't have any drugs.

My top ones just started poking through. I'm like, terrified to have a tooth pulled. I've never had any problems with my teeth as a kid, not even a cavity. I've seen the pain people go through when the bottom ones start coming through. It does not look fun.

they just jacked me up on novacaine and pulled them.. two on one side one day.. then went back for the other side. Then they just gave me extra strength prescription tylenol.

my wisdom teeth are coming in just fine right now... the two top ones are almost all the way out, and the bottoms... well, the tops have been coming in over the past few years o.O... so i assume the bottoms either aren't, or are waiting for a grand entrance.

either way... i better be knocked the **** out if they need to come out. I had actually had my two front baby teeth pulled out because the adult teeth were coming in and the baby teeth... well, they weren't budging. They hit me up with novocaine... i think i remember like...5-6 shots... they gave me gas too... nothing helped, i felt everything... everything... i was in there screaming my little head off for what felt like hours...

I had all four done about a year and a half ago. Definitely was a good idea. They give you so much medicine you won't even notice and you can just be lazy for a few days I loved it.

so if they arent impacted are they gonna drill into my jaw, or cut my gum?? or just yank that **** out?

im calling for an emergency appointment now.

**** no doctors in the office, wtf is that bs, now i gotta wait til monday, im gonna lose 10 pounds by next friday.

From my experience, DO NOT just get novocaine, get put under. I had a molar pulled with just novocaine because thats all I could afford and although there was no pain, I could feel and hear the ripping. It was horrible. Not to scare you or anything.....

They shot me up with novacaine when I had all 4 pulled at once. The tops they pulled no problem but the bottom they literally broke them in half with a chisel haha... it sucked but I didnt feel ****. But I have a high tolerance for pain and it would have cost my mom $300 extra to be put out so I said **** it.

They'll probably slice you open and pull it out. It depends really. He might be able to wiggle it out without cutting... depends on how good he is ya know?

I had all four removed a couple of years ago.

Two were impacted and two werent.

I got knocked out. Wasnt too painful afterwards either.

I guess everyone is different though.

but i had my fair share of horrible teeth...my baby teeth wouldn't fall out so i had two layers of teeth like a shark and they had to pull 7 out at once and i had braces for 9 years...so we're even lol
