Nbrac27's 2011 STi Limited

Hey everyone!

So I figure since this is about to become my new money pit that I throw whatever extra I have lying around at all the time, may as well make a journal and track her progress from now until she's where I want her to be at 1000whp! (........ That's an absolute joke )

My current very small mod list-

Invidia N1 Burnt Ti Dual Tip CBE
Cobb Catted DP
Cobb STS
RA Flaps
Clarion NX605 Headunit
Blox Racing Limited Torch Blue Shift Knob
Feal 441 Coils (Awaiting delivery and installation)
18x9.5 +45 SSR GTV01's

Not much done to her currently, but have some 'smaller' plans in motion for the time being. My near, to not too distance future plans are-

JNA Performance Front Lip
Torque Solutions Shifter Bushings
Gorilla Forged NeoChrome Lugs
Whiteline Rear Adjustable Control Arms
Grimmspeed EWG Uppipe + TiAL 38mm EWG
Agency Power UEL Headers
Prosport 'JDM' Style Boost gauge plus Wideband in a JCS A-pillar
Angel Eyes

Tune (retune) it once the CB, Inlet, Fuel Pump, and EBSC are purchased.

Once she's retuned I'll see where I'm at and probably stay at that for quite some time while I do the timing belt/water pump, probably upgrade the clutch just due to mileage on the stock one and to be able to handle more power, and then start saving for the engine build I plan to do!

Thank you! Lol and okay maybe 1000 is a little high, I'll aim for a solid 900 to the wheels....

Well got a couple things for the car this past weekend and threw them in, and discovered some more goodies about the car along the way. Received the NX605 and immediately went to work on that and got it all installed.

Absolutely love it and couldn't be happier with the model I got. Debating on doing upgraded speakers and possibly a sub in the trunk, nothing too crazy but I do enjoy music.

Here's a pre photo of tearing apart the center console to splice the e-brake sensor wire.. Soon after it was all done found out all I had to do was ground it and it'd be fine. Wish I had that info an hour earlier hah.

Well would you look at that, already had the Cobb STS that I wanted on the car.. So tearing apart the center console at least had some positive take aways lol.

And then lastly, my Blox Racing Limited shift knob came in.. Had one of my previous subie and loved it so decided the STI just wouldn't be 'mine' until it had one as well.

Once I get paid on the 15th (Wooo Mil Biweekly Pay!) I'm hoping to grab either an Invidia N1 or Agency Power catback to throw on and then put the Ark up on the market to support the coils purchase!

And last picture just because I found a cool spot in my town when I was driving to the post office and snapped one.

Nice that it came with some mods already! The new headunit is WAY nicer looking. Does it sound better? I have to assume it functions a lot better tapping around the menus and such, lol.

Welcome! Probably felt like Christmas when you found the Cobb STS in there already -- that's a nice little bonus.

Thanks everyone! It actually sounds a lot more clear, there isn't any static at all which is awesome, the tapping on the menu is much much more responsive, and the navigation is a fantastic add on to have.

AmbitiousCK, these cars are a whole lot of fun but that vette in your profile picture would rip up down, and around on my car haha

Shipman do you have an IG with the same name? If so I follow you, if not, there is a guy on IG with the name Shipman with a remarkably similar STi to yours lol

Rumble all the things!

Got the Ark catback off, and installed the new Invidia N1. Now she purrs like my previous subies and I love it. I like the look of the quad tip more, however I like the sound of the dual singles far more so they won this battle.

Once I get the sound clip uploaded I'll post that as well! Now with the new exhaust on, time to sell the old one to put towards the wheels!

Hey, don't you short me. Add another 7 zeros and you'll be close to what that just added. And don't even get me started on what I'll be making once I add the stickers.

Update, purchased my coils! Went with Feal 441's so now just waiting for them to build and ship them to my tuner and they will be going on! Once the ride height is all dialed in and she's set, next on the list will be the wheels and control arms!

From what I hear the Feal 441s are a great choice!

I forgot about how a lot of people go that route with subarus at least, and when I told my tuner/parts store that I was looking into coils and was debating between fortune auto 500s or ISCs he said personally he wouldn't recommend either and that the Feal's are much better. So I said why not, you specialize in subies and have a hell of a lot more experience than I do working with them.

I'm not sure what the normal turn around is on purchasing a set because apparently Feal builds each set as soon as they receive the order, instead of keeping stock on hand, so hopefully they'll be here soon so I can install them!

I never heard of FEAL until I was looking to replace my TEIN FLEX on the Miata. I went with something else because it was a more proven option for only $400 more, but mine are miata specific using Tractive dampers (similar to MCS), but not universal. I've since heard great things about FEAL setups. What kind of spring rates do they ship with, or did you pick your own?

I'm not entirely positive what the spring rates are however they are swift springs which I've heard nothing but incredible things about so I'm hoping for the best lol
