Interesting swap.

What are you going to do for a trans?

This swap has been discussed over on the Starquest forums a few times, but I've never seen one completed or even attempted IIRC.

I'm curious what it takes to swap in the SRT motor as well.

Very nice! Damn you for bringing back memories of my '87 TSi! Sold it a couple years ago to a guy up in Easton, PA.

Good luck with yours!

Well sorry for grammar and all iPhone likes to auto correct and such

Kdm rad and intercooler just a sneak peek at the rad

To make an srt rwd is a lot and I mean ALOT of work and there are better options and easier ways to Make it fun but I want something new.

Trans will be aisin built r154 or solstice trans liberty bellhousing
Probably gonna run ems 4
420a head
Eagle h beams
Wiseco piston
Now for the crank I don't know what to do I'm hopeing an srt guy will help me with what to do

If your in a pinch for money, I've read that a Dakota bell/trans assembly will bolt up also.

KDM makes some awesome parts, albeit Kelly is kinda a cocky bastard, lol. That rad is overpriced however, an eBay rad for an SR20 Nissan will work just as well.

I've got a monster in my car, meant for a smallblock race motor.

I am on turbo dodge I got a deal on the rad and the intercooler together for a good price. r154 is supra trans. The trans I want is out of a solstice much better then supra trans same maker and bolt pattern. my real problem is the bellhousing is the hardest thing to get its from a manuall jeep 03 4cyl

I'm always in a pinch for cash lol but if I'm buying a trans I'm buying what I want and one that's strong so I don't have to end up buying two.

Dmyers151 do u you run stock rear or have u upgraded because I don't know what to do about mine

You'll be fine with the stock rear, just make sure it's healthy.

There's a group of guys down in Maryland that are 2JZ swapped, all making well over 600whp on the stock rear & axles.
