I had PDX in Seattle remotely tune my car. The chances are, the e-tuners have already tuned a setup like your own, and you may get a very good map the first time around.

I can't say I've ever heard a bad thing about Infamous1 on the LGT.com boards, other then being too backed up with work. He does opensource and AP tunes.

I had my car tuned by Ryan at Area 1320 and I can't complain. I haven't gotten the car dyno-ed yet so I'm not sure what it's putting down, but the experience was good and the tune feels solid, the tune I wanted was a drivable everyday car but still have the power when I want to have a little fun, Ryan hit it spot on with it. The tune is very drivable and when i want to have fun the car feels like a friggin beast. It's definitely a sleeper.

On a side note...how is that Turbosmart BPV and what does it do for you?

Ryan tuned (& has done 90% of the build) on my Baja.
The ONLY issue I've ever had is waiting in line to get my work done.
There's a reason why people wait to get in at Area1320.

I have no issues with RT, they did a fantastic job on my AWIC install (I wanted it installed RIGHT NOW & paid a little extra due to my lack of patience) & I'd refer/use them again in a heartbeat.

Both shops will get you where you want to be. If you can get an appointment with Ryan, I'd go that route first. If his schedule is booked, you won't be disappointed @ RT

I would go to the facility with a speciality that relates to your vehicle. Since I have a speed3, there really isnt any persay " mazda " tuning specialist in the area that i know of. There for R/T is my local shop of choice for anything I need done, and of course Erik / Vince are stand up people as well...

Can i ask how much you paid to get tuned there?

And i love the turbosmart bpv, its very sleek and most people don't even notice it. It just helps you hold boost better, and also is built to withstand more boost than the stock plastic unit.

Well i ended up selling my access port and borrowing a tactrix 2.0 cable and got a torqued performance tune from Eric Minehart (look them up if you're not familiar). Im currently working on getting romraider installed on my computer so i can send him some logs to make sure everything is good to go, but it pulls hard as a mofo now

Yeah, I was in the same boat. No front mount. The PW ic is essentially the size of a FMIC, but with the convenience of it being a TM. I absolutely love it - well worth the $$$$$.

What catback were you thinking of getting?

Yea i mean i figure i can't go wrong with that ic. And I'm thinking of the invidia q300. I was thinking of perrin to match my down pipe but i like the way the invidia looks a little better, and they're both supposed to be somewhat quiet which is what i want. Invidia is down to 889 shipped too haha so i can't complain about that

what are you using to power your boost gauge? I'm not sure what I want to go with in terms of power source for my gauges.

I see you sold the Z, but this should be interesting.. I'll definitely be on the look out for the updates.

Any plans for aggressive wheels on this?

well i got the prosport gauge which has two colors (white for the day, red for night) i tapped into two wires. ONe goes to the dimmer switch which i believe is ignition power, and one goes to the traction control button which i believe is accessory power (unless i have that backwards). very easy to do.

You should be able to tap right into the radio harness, or the clock. Power, ignition, ground, and illumination all there.

And to the OP, your car is looking good!

Nice! Love the color too. I'v been thinking of trading my S2K for an 11 WRX wagon. The S2k is great but the WRX would be so much nicer on the daily drive, and I can actually fit a double din in it haha. 2 weeks ago we had a snow storm and I had to drive my S2k...That was terrible. Plus 300whp with little mods is perfect. A 12 second car like that would be perfect and fun for DD
