The real issue with illegal immigrants is how they make commodities and services that we take for granted cheap. We need them until someone invents robots capable of replacing them.

Illegals are as cheap as you can get. An employer interested in maximizing profits and uninterested in being a law abiding citizen will hire illegal immigrants. You'll see such in restaurants, on construction sites, hotels, janitorial, agriculture, etc.

im pretty sure walmart will be the death of us. While cheap, it offers almost nothing to us other than that. Alot of the money is just moved right out of the country..

Funeral homes can't even escape Walmart! They sell their caskets cheaper than we can even buy them from our distributers. Way, way lesser quality, too.

That's not why Walmart is bad.

Walmart is bad because it destroys communities. Here it might not look like it does much, but go in the South or middle of the country and you will see desolate towns where all the mom and pop shops have closed because of Walmart.

Walmart pays their employees so little that they encourage them to go on welfare. This has been documented and proven by former and current Walmart employees. This is one of the ways that they get those every day low prices.

The only reason Immigrants come here is because of the opportunity AMERICAN businesses give them. Be upset about that rather then someone wanting his family to have a better life. Why not fight for a crack down on Businesses highering Illegals or not checking into papers? Is it you just don't want Mexicans in your Country? Take away the opportunity and they will stop coming here, I promise.

Prices of goods will go up! That depends on the greed of the Business owner. CEO of Wal-mart makes about 10k an HOUR. I think there's room for giving higher wages while keeping pricing the same or a tad higher. Like I said in other threads someone making that much money while their employees suffer and even have to resort to welfare makes me fking sick.
