Hell Everyone. I used to be very big into the car scene around 18 years ago and could be found every weekend at the Philly Races down on Holstein, 61st, etc. After I realized how stupid I was being I stopped going and disappeared from the scenes for a while to get my act together and become a responsible adult.

For the last 10 years I have belonged to various forums and clubs. Very few actually had meets and much fewer had local members. I was happy to find this forum as it is full of car enthusiasts who are more local. I currently have a 2012 Nissan Frontier and plan to mod it more over the next few years. My fiancé also has a 2005 Pontiac Vibe that I would love to turn into a little racer, but she is not having it at the moment, but I am fighting the extreme uphill battle to change her mind.

Am looking forward to getting ideas, sharing knowledge/information and hopefully meet some of you And attend some meets in the future.

My mom has one, and I ABSOLUTELY HATE THAT THING. It has no power lol. Welcome to the forums though.

Welcome to TST. My uncle has a vibe, and I actually like the thing. Toyota reliability, and pretty spacious.

Happy to hear you got your act together lol. Welcome to TST.

Just a word of advice not just to you but to everyone reading: If you're serious about wanting to mod a car/truck, figure out which you want and make it a project. Keep your current car/truck a daily driver or pick up a daily driver so you can mod without needing to worry if it'll be done before work the next day etc. On top of that, a 3rd car is nice to have between the two of you when one of your two are needing work.

I agree with having a separate project vehicle. Been there before with a Mustang and found out the hard way projects do not make good daily drivers.

She wants a subaru Crosstrek, so hopefully when she gets one it will give me the green light to start monkeying with the Vibe.
