Last night on the ride into work I had an Illusione Epernay. Rated #3 by Cigar Aficionado in 2011.

Here's my box of sticks

I've got about 28 in there now. 1 Nub Habano, a bunch of Don Benignos, a bunch of Don Jojos, and some "Hidalgos".

The Benignos, Jojos, and Hidalgos are all Costa Rican smokes. The Hidalgos are especially cool. This husband and wife roll them in their living room of this tiny town. The wife's family owns a tabacco farm in Costa Rica, and the husband is a 6th generation Cuban tobacco family member. Great smokes though.

I usually have at least a few more Nubs and some Rocky Patel The Edge (my favorite cigar)

Do you guys think i'm going over board with my humidification? Those things only let out the proper amount of humidity, correct? I had another ****ty ebay box, but I couldn't keep it moist for the life of me so I moved them all into my smaller, high quality humidor.

You definitely have way too many humidification devices in there. Do you have a hydrometer?

usually yes, but the battery is dead. i thought those glycol based devices will regulate themselves?

plus i threw an extra in to try to get some moisture back into the cigars that were in the crappy humidor (it seems to be working)

Way too many humidification devices in that humidor.

Your ****ty humidor..... how many sticks does it hold?

Take everything out of it. Pour about a quarter inch of DISTILLED water in the bottom. Shake it around to coat all the walls and lid. Dump excess water out. You'll be able to see the water absorb into the cedar. at that point you can put your cigars in. I'd do this every 3-4 months. I actually do this with my one humi, and it sits perfect at 69%

Id do the same with your good humi too. If you have one of those floral foam pucks in the lid, make sure you fill that up once a week or so with some cigar juice (propylene glycol/distilled water mix)

Tonight I had a Perdomo ESV 2002, and gave Oakes an Alec Bradley that isnt even out in production yet.

I grabbed a few Alec Bradley Black Markets at an event at the CI superstore a few months ago. Had one today for the first time. Nice smoke.

So far today I had a My Father and a SWAG cigar. As much as I hate the word swag, the cigar is really good.

Kinda trying to get into the cigar scene and just had a few questions, Do you guys inhale? I smoke cigarettes on the regular but I'm trying to cut back and at night when I'm out side this seems to be a good substitute . So where do I start?

I inhale sometimes.

I started out with flavored cigars (where a lot of people do) for example Tatianas, pipe tobacco cigarellos, and then worked my way through some mild cigars on up to full strength.

A humidor will be good once you get into it more. Go buy one, smoke it, see if you like it. Buy something different lather rinse repeat.

You can start out with a tupperdor. A plastic tupperware container with a Bodeva packet in it that will hold proper humidity.

I age cigars. A lot of people do.
