Any offense 30mph or more over the speed limit is subject to a license suspension, not to mention 5 points, and a possible reckless or careless driving charge which could be another 5 or 2 points respectively. Theoretically, if the offender already had two or more points on his license and were charged with both speeding and reckless driving, then he could be subject for license suspension for two reasons, incurring more than 12 points on his driving record, and the license suspension for exceeding the speed limit by 30 miles and hour or more.

How would I know? My Grandfather is an attorney and I referenced both he and the officer that pulled me over doing 104 in a 45. (though the cop only clocked me at 84, which is still more than 30mph over the limit).

Also, when you have more than 6 points on your license you are subject to surcharges of $150 or more.

On the topic of Ferraris... Call me crazy but this monstrosity of a Ferrari is my personal favorite.









This is the 2000 Ferrari Enzo Prototype M3.

Basically, Ferrari pieced this amazing machine together in 2000 because they didn't want the Enzo to be shot by photographers until the 2002 Paris auto show came around.

It's a highly modified/stretched Ferrari 348 Chassis with a 355 Challenge rear end/drivetrain parts, Misc 360 parts, and a modified version of the F140 V12 engine that would find it's way into the Production Ferrari Enzo.

It was the Ferrari Enzo before the Ferrari Enzo, And the ultimate Frankenstein-Ferrari.

Because the Police officer took pity on me because I was in my "mom's car" on the night of my "high school graduation" and I was "showing off for my friends." The Cop sent me home with a Verbal Warning because he couldn't write a written one for any violations 15mph or more over and he "Didn't want to see me lose my license".

I was also on the Betsy Ross Bridge, and Bridge cops are a different breed.

(The BMW is Registered in my Mom's name, it was the night I graduated Highschool and I did have 3 of my friends in the car.)

You got lucky Dustin. A fire chief I know is one of the captains for the Transit Authority and if your speeding most transit cops won't be as forgiving.

I know I got lucky.

Now I don't speed on bridges or go over the speed limit by 15mph in the State of New Jersey anymore.
