it broke down in Rolla, MO and again 15 miles outside of Santa Rosa, NM.....i rented a U Haul and trailer'd it from Albuquerque, NM to Burbank, CA...that cost me 780 bux...the "repair" in Rolla cost me 246...the tow to Moriarty, NM cost me 170.00..and i bought 4 gallons of coolant along the way at 5.99-9.99/ ea...

seems the head gaskets are done...(thats what everyone is telling me - cuz coolant just disappears)

pics from the trip later..

so ur saying another motor went in and the common headgasket prob wasnt checked or replaced before the motor went in. Boy all that work to do the motor i wouldve went ahead and just did the gaskets water pump and timing belt while it was out to save the headache u have now. Especially taking it on the trip u were going on.

lol Jon you should have just left that thing here.

94503- that motor we put in it was 100% solid. The only thing needed was cam seals and intake gaskets. Timing components we changed before install.

It seems as tho since the fan relays crapped out that driving it without the fans overheated the motor causing the hg issues.
