I suck at driving

I went to Maple grove today and got two runs in, one was ok the other ruined my day .

1st run s16g at 22psi and launching abt 4k.

60ft 2.017
330 5.504
1/8 8.327
mph 86.85
1000 10.790
1/4 12.831
mph 109.96

Second run also at 22psi but launching at 5k

60ft 1.99
330 5.776
1/8 9.519
mph 57.81
1000 13.585
1/4 17.457
mph 56.85

Cluched slipped very bad in 1st and kept slipping in 2nd and 3rd so I just let the car coast. That pretty much just ended my day.

I think I saw your car there but didn't see you run, plus a 12.8 at 110 is very respectable numbers. It was a nice day for racing.

10.512 @ 132 with 1.54 60'. Track was good. Even that's not my best but I got 4 runs and they didn't kick me out until the 2nd 10 sec run.

Something that may be helpful to you depending on which clutch you decide to run. When I ran my 20g on an ACT 2600 I would simply dump the clutch at 6k. The DR's spun initially then would hook saving my drive train. I was able to cut 1.56 - 1.60's consistently. Get aggressive and you'll cut off some tenths in a hurry. Also, be concious off and consistent with your shift points. If you're not doing anything Friday night we'll be at Atco doing some shake down runs on my new set-up.

Dave

I'm gonna probably hold off for the rest of the season and start my search for a 23 spline trans, t/c clutch and 4 bolt rear.

You're in there too. Clean SI. My son had a 2000 and we turbo that in 2001 with Greddy kit and FM. I think he ran 13.6@108 with it. After that all my cars are turbo. He has a 4 door SI now.

One of the guys at PHILLYSTANGS.COM posted the pictures site. There is a video that they took but it doesn't have any of you guys in it, just their owen races and one of mine

Thanks, I try my best to keep it clean. I'd like a new stock Si for a daily, but I would be too afraid it would get stolen.
