A vendor in stock forum??

Ok, I know of course each vender has their own little section. I was wondering if its possible to have one page of all Vendor in stock items set up just like the personal for sale section is set up here. It would be great to for blow out sales, groupe buys, etc.

Reason I bring this up is When I was looking for a greddy BOV I had to go in and out of ever vendor section GUESSING which ones can get the BOV, had it in stock, and how much. This of course would benefit Vendors themselves to help get rid of IN STOCK items.

Anybody? I demand this happens

On the main forum page the market place list would be like -

Market place

Vendor forum

Vendor in stock only items

personal forsale

personal wanted to buy

etc.

It really would be a good thing. I know when I check this Vendor section alls I see is a list of vendors and then I have to go threw 25-30 vendors hoping to find one with what Im looking for in stock ready to go. What I have to do is-

-click on said vendors link
-find out if they sell what Im looking for
-call to see if its in stock or worse email to see if its in stock
-repeat 25-30 times to cover all vendors (Or favor the vendors at the top of the list)

Not to mention this could help vendors get those impulse buys.

Hopefully this happens.

I agree. Say if I post something for sale... and then 5 minutes later Vince does.... My thread is no longer seen from the main page.

It may also help reduce the amount of "help, I need XXX right now! Where can I get it?" threads.

If the vendors think this will be helpful I'll be more than happy to figure something out. Its way too late now to compute any of this though so I'll try to look into it in the next couple of days... if you haven't seen a response from me by the end of the weekend bump this / pm me about it to remind me.

I'm all for it. I think it sounds like a great idea....especially considering how many vendors are on this forum. It's got to be a nightmare to go through all of the different vendor sections.

Ok so explain to me what you're thinking here and how it will work... if I make a Vendor Forum - Parts In Stock section, how will it be used/organized by the vendors from there? Just trying to understand the idea here...

Troll, just like the nasioc.com classifieds section is what I was thinking or actually more like the RS25.com classified section with how they have IN STOCK only parts. The only prob. that I could see coming about with this is Vendors whoring it up with their own stuff. You could of course set guidelines for Vendors like -

-IN STOCK items only
-3 new posts allowed weekly in this section. They can of course include as many possible items within the one post (not sure if this can be enforced but I’m sure other vendors would be more then happy to point out its being abused)
-Services would of course be considered "in stock" like paint, tinting, engine swaps, etc) but would need to be considered a special priced event not just "hey we do this"
-Etc

I picture it moving along just like the personal for sale section but for vendors only including "bumps" and all.

Hopefully some of the vendors reply with agreeing with me on these set ups / guideline OR better yet have some better ideas!!

Hey Troll,

I have a great system for this.... When you stop down the shop, i can go through it with you!

I spoke to Bob about this too! Similar to NASIOC, but better

Yeah, I like this idea. I personally think it would benefit everyone, not just customers looking for an easier way to find parts.

This sounds like a good idea and would definitely benefit everyone who is looking to purchase parts.
