Well, recently [June 19th] traded my MK3 VR plus some cash for this 2000 Golf, 4 Door Candy White 1.8T. Its said to be that there were only about 7000 4 Door 1.8Ts ranging from 00-02, imported in the US. And you brake down those years, and color, and theres about 500 Candy White 1.8Ts with four doors. And then on top of that, this car is swapped to an 03 motor (so the cars pretty damn rare). Its got the Ko4 Turbo, 180 BHP motor, only performance mods are intake, 93 Revo chip. With the chip, its boosting to 17 PSI. Its got upgraded axels and bushing, Fresh Stage 2 clutch, Boser, and Bilstien coilovers all the way around.

My plans for it now, are to drive it, and see how everything goes. Keep it clean, it pulls plenty hard for now. Should be at 200 WHP, maybe a little more.
Im going to spend the next few months upgrading some stuff that I dont like on it.

What I want to change:

New front Bumper
Different Wheels
MSD Coils, Plugs and wires
some Interior items that I dont think are clean enough
FMIC

It desperately needs a FMIC and exhuast, but they can wait, depend when I start welding, FMIC could come sooner then later. I want to clean up the bay as well. Itll be an interesting few weeks to see how I react to my first turbo car.

Ive been told that the MK4 4DR golfs in candy white are very rare, and especially since its AWP swapped.

They are a 1.8 liter motor with a very tiny turbo. My buddies did about the same. I'm sure more could be had if the car was tuned more then just a generic chip.

I hope your getting a new turbo with that fmic. That turbo isnt going to do anything with a front mount

its not the ko3 guys, its the Ko4, not a HUGE turbo, but its bigger. Good for 23 psi. And yes, the FMIC will help ;)

And nah, didt get the car from around here from a girl lol. ITS NOT A GENERIC CHIP, its a chip with software, a Revo 93 chip, they go for about 500$. And they have different stages, the chip is suppose to take a stock 1.8 to 207 WHP, and I have other mods, so im prolly over 200 WHP, just dont like to say it before I get it dynoed.

And P.s, Nuespeed sucks, im going for this exhaust..

a k04 on stock tune gives 225hp at the crank... i think your numbers are a bit off.

car is white so i say.... gold wheels, lightly tinted windows, 3500k hids and keep the amber oem bulbs. white and gold = sexz
