I love how your goal is a 9 second pass than you will worry about the motor.

Lol dude I feel you workin on a grocery getter. Me and my boy do all our stuff together his car makes a bit over 700rwhp lol. It's just tough when you don't have alot of people doing the same thing and parts arent as plentiful.

It's a 2JZ, all 800some horsepower that he's making isn't that big of a deal on that engine, lol.

But in all seriousness for this thread, I really want to hit my goal of running 10s this coming season. Will it happen, I don't know. I also have a few things planned like always for this year, but no real changes to the actual setup for once.

Relax, bud. When the dude with a drag Honda and a boosted daily that has had fast Honda's for years AND fabs his own parts tells the new kids on the block that they're doing it wrong, it's time to step back and learn something.

Lol it's just funny cause after I hit 200hp I had to build my block. And I think we should have like a tst goal day or something at raceway or another. I know I have never really introduced myself to people at the meets but I go to alot of stuff and I know others would be down. Call it like tst all out day lol.

my goal is to not spend any more money on it. I've spent a little over a grand on the exhaust... i love the sound but it's a waste of money. my goal is to extend my driveway and garage and stick a factory five cobra kit in there to work on...

Aaron, as soon as the tracks open and we get some good racing weather, we need to hit the track!

out of everyone on here, I'm hoping you reach your goal. Cause something that lasts is cooler than something that's fast if you ask me.

There's hope! I just picked up a Lego with 233k miles on it. Other than the leaking headgaskets, the engine runs fantastic!

300-400whp, 11sec slips, full interior and daily driver. I'd love 500-600whp, 10sec slips, etc. but i want to have a responsive setup that is still reliable and doesnt require constant C16 or 100+ octane to maintain. 93+meth is good enough for a decent amount of whp.

Hopefully by summer 2012/spring 2013 ill be turbo, low boost (t28, stock block etc.). and the following year, built with 350+whp. baby steps! gotta finish school before i can go hardcore ;)

high 11s or very low 12s consistent on radials maybe. 340whp 360wtq on a "stock" turbo (its basically a slightly bored)and 93 gas + meth. be able to drive it every day with no worries like i do now

To not break anything, and MAYBE see some high high 12s with some more tuning, and lighter wheels and smaller/lighter tires. Really doubt that's going to happen, though.
