Made by P-ayr product, not super cheap, but honestly I'm sold. When I swapped the bmw i pulled the engine and trans several times before welding mounts in. Moving something 10 times lighter is so much nicer and I am sure I will use them for the rest of my life. They also seem to have a good resale value.

That’s legit awesome, but **** those are really expensive. Glad they don’t have any JDM engines to tempt me for any future project I may have.

You aren't kidding... the motor was a gifted to me, so fortunately I am only on the hook for the trans at ~300.

These should get a lot of use between prototyping use / car shows (if we ever have them again), so I'm glad I have them. We took a fully dressed motor to Macungie Rod Show last summer.... F that.

quick update, no pictures at the moment, but I will try to get some in the coming days.

I really dropped the ball on the whole video series, its an incredible amount of work to make even the mediocre videos I was doing... much respect to youtubers who make quality content...

Anyway, the truck is running and driving (kind of) I am working on buttoning up the cooling system with OE V8 Canyon parts. Last pieces are the heater hoses, which unfortunately appear to be discontinued

After cooling system, I will need to sort out vacuum/boost lines, and finish a tiny bit of wiring.

Long term plans are to swap in a Ford 8.8, finish the 4" exhaust, get the factory ECM integrated with the Holley Terminator, and eventually AC.

I am moving in Late Feb / Early March, so hoping I can drive this thing there and avoid having to tow it.

Hoping for a "normal" spring/summer car season so we can all get back out to car events and enjoy our junk!

Unfortunately they do not seem to support much for the v8 version of this truck. It was only 3-7% of total production numbers for very few years and my guess is that they didnt bother to reverse engineer every single component. I was able to find some universal Dayco hoses that should work for now. Eventually I would like to copy the OEM Rubber/Metal Line combos.

dyno'd the truck this past weekend.

It only made 400hp on 6-7psi... which seems really low. Everything sounds/feels good, so I am thinking maybe the cam timing is retarded 1 tooth by accident?

Hoping to use holley efi diag tools to check sensor pulses.

Also struggling with overheating on the highway, pretty sure my fan/shroud is a restriction, so i've got to try and work that out as well.

Always fun....

just to update:

Truck is gone

i got everything fixed up and traded it for concrete in my new shop... we'll call it an investment in my future i suppose.

No cars for now, way too house poor at the moment. I hope to return with a miata sometime next year

Sad to hear the truck is no more, but happy to see a new shop is underway. Wish you the best on those endeavors!
