Actually I'm still stuck in "How can I have a slammed car with a proper roll center and corrected suspension geometry stage 1." I'm getting close to the boss fight at the end of stage 1, hopefully stage 2 is easier.

Not that I'd expect you to know much about that, 3-Diamond Cars don't seem to encounter roll center issues all that often - unless we're talking time attack cars and such.

Also, why are Mitsubishi's always broken?

I really couldn't answer that question because I frankly don't know, I hop in and daily drive every single one of my 3-Diamond cars. If I had to venture a guess I would have to say the cars are as reliable as their owners, and I am a very reliable owner.

You also have to remember unlike the 240 crowd Mitsubishi owners are just worried about going fast cheaply, and unfortunately a lot of maintenance stuff ends up getting over looked.

This is true.

It's just weird that a slapped together 240 seems to be more reliable than a DSM.

So what your saying is that clearly it doesn't take a genius, mechanically inclined, problem solving individual to drive and own a 240? Sounds like its no different than owning a civic.

Owning an older Mitsubishi comes with an EXTREMELY steep learning curve, That's really what separates the kids that are "just into cars" and men that know everything there is to know about their car. You have to be a special kind of individual to own, mod, and daily drive a modded mitsubishi thats 10+ years old.

I have been DDing my talon at 30psi for over 3 years now, car has left me stranded only once in the last ~5years I've owned it and it was 100% my fault. Same goes for my Black car I DDed that car for ~2-3 years before I even got the DSM, The Galant has been daily driven for a bit too but its tough to have a dedicated daily now with multiple running cars.

"heh, my car is less reliable than your car, get off my lawn, plebeian"

I can understand someone who likes to get their hands dirty with their car, but seriously, this statement is silly.

but hey what do I know, I drive a car that requires no attention or money outside of regular maintenance (which is awesome)

edit: unless you forge your car with your bare hands, you aren't in my league

(but seriously, this guy is awesome: http://www.vimeo.com/24906676)

Because nissan engine and transmission are excellently built minus our 3rd gears. Also on a funny note my pos 1995 accord 4 cylinder ran faster than half the cars at cruise night.

lol. Duh! A "slapped together" 15-year-old N/A car will obviously be more reliable than a "slapped together" 15-year-old turbo car. What a ridiculous argument.

What I meant and it was probably tough to grasp through internet lingo. Is it takes years of knowing a car so well that it is reliable. None of my cars are un-reliable by any means and I DD ~20 year old turbo mitsubishis, but they all were un-reliable to the previous owner hense why I bought all of my cars blown up. The years of knowledge and dicking around with these cars allows you to put together a car that's circa 20years old and is still as reliable as a new honda civic.

That's what I mean by a steep learning curve, a lot of kids get into DSMs just to get right out of them faster than they got in because these cars can get over your head if you have no clue how they work.

Class concluded.

"slapped togther" dsms are less reliable because they make a ton more power then "slapped together" 240s. no matter how good of a builder you are, on a budget, 350+whp is a whole lot different then <300whp.

autox4u.com lists all of the autoxs taking place in the area.

However, they don't yet have the South Jersey Region's events listed. The next one is July 31 at Bader Field in Atlantic City. Bader Field is a closed down airport. We haven't run there yet, but early word from SJR Staff is that it's among the best places to autox in the area.

I was talking more about BS-ed KA-T setups and the like - but you're still somewhat correct either way.

Wtf are you guys arguing about LOL.

I hate Mitsubishi. Their dealerships are extra grimey, their warranties are about as helpful as a blind person having a blind guide dog, and besides the Evo and Outlander their current line of cars suck.

I love my car though.

Um you are aware some nissan's are turbo and some dsm's are n/a right ? And I think he meant in general.
