Project 10 Sec. Daily Driven RSX- Twin Scroll, Full Race.*Update* 8/19 Dyno Graphs!!!
I ditched the cams and ordered the first "sidewinder" manifold and kit available at the time, SCI motorsports. Full-Race's kit was not available at that time nor was there even a solid ETA. I wish I had waited. The kit was ordered in 05 and was not received until 13 months later!!! In that time I researched heavily motor blueprinting and balancing and decided I would give it a shot. I purchased a overreved K20 with a like new block for 450 bucks, send it to Golden Eagle to be sleeved, and the rest of the parts chosen are listed later. After building the block, I pulled my stock motor, tore it down, tore the head down, cleaned everything, installed valve spring/retainers/new seals and switched to the built block. I also installed a Clutchmasters twin disc clutch, followed by my crazy fuel setup, and then finally the SCI turbo kit. If you have a high hp K20 be ready for this....
Had to purchase a 12 ton press to complete the job and for that matter every time it does happen

After about 4K of driving the manifold cracked in three different places. Hence why I wish I waited a few months for Full Race to release their kit. Not too mention the company has gone under and is giving me the runaround on their lifetime warranty.
Not only this but switching to a FR Mani/DP now would require ditching everything on my current setup but the intercooler.

As it sits now I am owed over 4K by vendors that have not come through. They include:
Moto-C FRE Racing SCI Motorsports Also somebody attempted to break in to the car the other day causing at least 700 in damage to the hood, support beam, etc. Thankfully due to a few tricks they did not suceed in getting anything at all This week I will be picking up my fuel pumps to start on the new fuel system. Also, a partial FR kit will be ordered from Evans Tuning this week. I look forward to my retune this coming spring which should make these numbers look pathetic. I will update w/ progress on the new turbo, trans, and fuel setup as progress is made.

Boost by gear via AVCR, BFG Drag radials, Innovative motor mounts, semi stiff suspension and a little right foot control is definately needed. But with some driver skill it definately holds its own from stoplight to stoplight.

I had a fuel related issue on the way to Island dragway one night and learned a valuable lesson. Carry extra relays and an electrical tester in the glovebox. Shortly thereafter the manifold cracked beyond repair. I'll get some track times right after tuning this spring. There is only one 10sec RSX in the US right now, my goal is to become the first on the East coast But baby steps first, the first few times to the track will be on pump gas/low boost. Then I'll ease into C16 tune.
