This is like going on corvette forum and asking why everyone drives corvettes, or going on svtsnake.com (a northeast mustang website) and asking why everyone in the northeast drives mustangs.

but yet i dont think it's as lame as listing cars in your sig that you no longer own.

this forum is called tristatetuners.com. where in that name does it mention anything about EVOs or Subarus? right.

Have you ever picked up a "Tuner" magazine???? They are all evo's, subarus, and all of the other. Now break the name of the website down...Tri-State TUNERS, and you should realize the common sense explanation.

As to listing cars in my sig that I no longer own, it's the car that everyone would know me by. Don't start with the word slinging of lame.....your pictures of your cars say enough.

judging by the nature of your original question you already have a predetermined notion that this site is mostly evos and subies i think you've answered your own question

An 03 Z06 was $20 cheaper per month compared to the 03 cobra.

if you really think that cougar and dodge ram in those pics are my cars, then you really are lame.

i'm sorry that i'm supposed to assign the "Tuner magazine" connotation of the word "tuner" to EVERY INSTANCE of the word i ever come across in my life.

As the market stands right now, people tune evos and subarus more than any other car. Theres your answer.

no, the fact is that the site is mostle evos and subarus. the notion is that this regional forum is mostly evos and subarus because of the weather situation.

When I used the word lame in return, I was referring to the "must be over 50 years old and own a corvette club jacket to own" picture.

And you don't need to use it in EVERY INSTANCE, but when you come on a website and ask the question why all of the cars are "tuner cars", well, if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck

Depends on what you wanted....

MKIV Supras resale are ridiculously overpriced on this side of the country.
Turbo RX7s are usually beaten to death and on their 2nd/3rd motor because the previous owners weren't car savvy.
NSX require considerable travel to go pick them up.
Integras Type Rs and GSRs will always be top on the list of stolen cars.
Civics.....well I didn't wanna be lumped in that group that Ive seen in my area.
MR2s Turbos are rare, overpriced, and not really practical.
240sx are becoming overpriced.

Just a lot of us happen to have them and happen to have joined the community. I found out about the site from several WRX/STi owners and that's why I joined. Also I like snow.

I dont know, what are you smoking? Or, what is your insurance company smoking? 4 door cars are cheaper on insurance than 2 doors. My Z was 20 dollars more than my STi. It may vary between insurance companies.. but I've been with All-State and Farmers insurance and both have given me cheaper rates for a 4 door.

So, I was on this site...

www.corvettecluboftexas.org

And was wondering why everyone in Texas drives a corvette. Is it a weather thing?

Not to poke fun, but I hope you will at least understand the sarcasm.
