I put the fuel system cleaner **** in last night. Didnt seem to do anything.

Changed the rear diff fluid, tranny fluid, and motor oil today. Again, didnt notice anything besides the normal oil change diffrence. Didnt find any large metal chunks on the tranny or rear diff drain plugs. So all is well.

Looks like its gonna be a really good night.

First stop Harbor Freight! Pickup a die grinder to port and polish the manifolds I have laying around. Then possibly the throttle body and stock turbo. Depends on how the manifolds turn out. If not off they go to Ryan @ Area1320.

Second stop Mr. Ray from TurboTek is going to get me on one of his stage 2 maps so I can sell the accesswhore and pickup an electric cutout.

Thirst - err third stop is the tue night applebees meet. Because what beats hanging out with all the old farts (Hi Gary and Ryan! ) watching all the jail bait at applebees?

So I'm running lean. Gonna pickup a new 02 sensor (or order one) today.

Thanks Ray, Ryan, and Terry for the late late night last night.

let me explain bens situation, i was called to come up there and retune the wagon because he had notice its been knocking with his prior tune. so i came up and ran some logs and verified that in fact the car was knocking and it was running extremely lean. the 1st steps were to pull his plugs and the findings were radther horrid all 4 plugs were super white. in hopes to figure out the issue at 1:30 am we decided to replace the plugs, we threw in the stage 2 map and tried tuning once again and within seconds we had knock again and afrs were 14.5 through out the entire powerband still. my guess is that the 02 sensor is on its way down south. needless to say i put the stock map back in and had the same issue. im just glad i went up there because if ben was not made aware of his issue and how severe it was, the car would have been a time bomb.

got home at 4am, terry dosent love me anymore i promised we would be home by midnight

I took a day off of work just for my car. I think that officially qualifies me as a looser.

I have a new sensor in my hand.

The weird part is that its not throwing ANY codes. Had I not had Ray come up last night who knows what would have happened in the future. I've estimated that its been running like this for at least 13,000 miles.

Hell no Ben! That qualifies you as a TRUE car lover...haha... ALL the work i've done has been on days taken from work... I'd much rather work on my car than go to work!
Hopefully it turns out to just be the sensor...and nothing like what Jeffros is dealing with
