The previous owner ripped out all of my custom wiring and was basically putting the car back to stock. I again ripped out all the stock wiring and used the painless fuse panel to rewire the entire car. I have all the basics working and started on the engine harness wiring. Hopefully it will be running within the next week or so.

I finished the engine wiring, turned the key, heard the fuel pump turn on and then listened to the unplugged #4 injector dump fuel into the cyl. I swapped in several other injectors so either the o-rings are all bad or the fuel rail is messed up. I picked up another fuel rail and a new set of o-rings so I'm going to give it a go again this weekend.

Thanks. I will be doing the tuning. Initially I'm looking for about 250whp nothing crazy. Down the road I will be building another engine and shoot for a responsive 400whp

Car is running finally! I assumption the ecu shipped setup for 370cc injectors and a SR20DET MAF. Started right up on first try but was running really rich. I checked the tune on the ecu and found it was still set for the stock injectors and maf. Made a quick change to the ecu and she was purring like a kitten. The video below was actually taken running the stock tune with only the turbo elbow hooked up.

Still have a lot of cleanup to do but it's getting there. And no I'm not keeping the valve cover that color

I have a few goodies on the way
-ISIS Single GT Exhaust for S13
-3 x ISIS Exhaust Hangers
-ISIS S13 KA24DE radiator fan shroud kit
-Circuit Sports Coolant Overflow Tank
-Autometer Sport Comp Oil Pressure Gauge 100psi

So my parts came in and are all installed. I wired in the fans to be switched on and off via the AC output on the Nismotronic.

I let the car fully warm up this time and of course nothing can ever go right. The car was smoking like crazy from the exhaust. I did a compression test and it came back 175 across the board. Unbolted the downpipe and found lots of oil! Yey blown turbo!

So I picked up a 2871R and brand new 550cc injectors off of a buddy. Then spent 7hrs trying to find a restricted oil inlet fitting on Saturday with no luck. So I ordered one from my supplier. I'm just waiting on the fitting to come in so I can slap that bad boy on and fire it up.

Well I got the 2871 all installed and fired it up. There was a bit of smoke at first which I expected because of all the oil in the exhaust.

After a little while it continued to smoke and I started to see oil seeping from the turbo inlet flange. I pulled the manifold back off and look what I missed, oil leaking from cyl2.

At this point I figure I'll go over the head 3 angle valve job, new valve stem seals, resurface. Then throw on a new head gasket and some ARP head studs.

I got the head off and it looked like the head gasket was pretty much brand new but appeared to be leaking around cyl2

Well I picked up a S14 Ka for cheap, installed it and guess what? Same exact problem. I guess the 2871r I picked up has bad oil seals. I confirmed this by putting the stock exhaust manifold on. No smoking/ dripping oil. So now I have an ISIS RS3871 Turbo on the way. Sooo much wasted time. At least I have a spare KA to build now.

I got to take the car down the road for a quick test drive. As soon as the car hit boost the clutch started slipping. Tonight I will be installing a SPEC Billet Flywheel so I can run the Exedy Stage 2 SR20DET clutch I have laying around.

Installed the clutch and flywheel on Sunday. I got into boost a little and it felt awesome but I could not really get on it because it still needs to be tuned

Thanks, I started putting the interior back together and made a gauge pod from plexiglass for the dash where the center vents were. I have the following sitting in the garage waiting to be installed

- BC type BR coils
-Autometer Sport Comp Tach
-Autometer Sport Comp Speedo
-Autometer Sport Comp Oil Pressure Gauge
-Autometer Sport Comp Fuel Level Gauge
-ISIS solid rear subframe bushings

Don't mind the stickers... Some friends of mine got bored while I wasn't there. And yes I know it needs paint horribly

It's been a little while but I got the coilovers installed, the subframe bushings in, gauge cluster built and gauges installed. I also got bored and changed the valve stem seals.

Click for some bushing burning video.

I honestly don't even know who's CRX that was. A friend of a friends I believe. It really is coming together. Now I need to swap out the diff that's in it because this one is shot. I guess that's what happens when you buy parts like this from people that are known to be shady.
