Actually what I was thinking was instead of a new bell ( because the one I have is a unicorn) I would change the tail shaft or just put something together from gm cars if I chang the tail shaft and rear housing I could use a slip yoke and could also have the shifter in a little better position

So it's time for an update to let you guys in on what's been going on so things are moving slow due to money and the attempt on changing shifter location and this is where I stand
This is the shift linkage cover Thingy doo dad.......

This obviously has a extension shaft so the position would be perfect for a solstice however I need it forward so my plan is to put a metal sleeve over shift selector ball... Completely making names up here lol

The sleeve will be about 3/4 higher then the ball to exept the old shifter

And it will all be held in place by an adapter made from this block of aluminum that will never be cut rite

And that's my progress........ Lol

It's very annoying because I'm going above and beyond with a ton of stuff I probably could have had it it and running if I just bought a complete srt motor and trans but instead I've gone and bought everything separate also IM
Using 420a head not srt
