So it's time for an update to let you guys in on what's been going on so things are moving slow due to money and the attempt on changing shifter location and this is where I stand
This is the shift linkage cover Thingy doo dad....... This obviously has a extension shaft so the position would be perfect for a solstice however I need it forward so my plan is to put a metal sleeve over shift selector ball... Completely making names up here lol The sleeve will be about 3/4 higher then the ball to exept the old shifter And it will all be held in place by an adapter made from this block of aluminum that will never be cut rite And that's my progress........ Lol |

Ok so the shifter u show is basically exactly what I have the problem being the bottom
sOs a ball I need a socket to fit, two balls don't mesch I need ball and socket but then again haven't seen the underside of that shifter if it has socket could work Last edited by Quest4thestars; 01-25-2012 at 01:45 AM. |

hows the swap going,.I bought a 89 conquest about 8 years ago with a blown turbo started working on it and got sidetracked for a few years.just got a srt4dcr stroker motor 800+hp need all the advice I can get.

It's very annoying because I'm going above and beyond with a ton of stuff I probably could have had it it and running if I just bought a complete srt motor and trans but instead I've gone and bought everything separate also IM
