Turbosmart bpv came in today and was installed. Super high quality piece i was very happy with the quality After i came home from installing that i hopped on the computer and ordered a smy cluster maker dual gauge pod, and a prosport boost gauge. I ordered a blank to fill in the other gauge hole until i can afford a nice a/f gauge

judging the pics, you live in or near marple ?, I work as a paramedic in marple...
asthetically all this needs is a little " Shades Of Gray " action...

So i did this last night (I'm on the right). It was my first time to the track with her and i couldn't get my launch control to work but i think i did pretty well anyway. Its probably good for 12.8 or so as it sits but id need a little more practice with it. I can't complain for just a down pipe, bypass valve and cobb ots tune though.

So i got my intake installed the other day, so my engine bay is pretty much how it will look for a few months until i get my process west tmic.
Also installed an smy clustermaker gauge pod and prosport boost gauge but i forgot to take a pic of that :/

Have you considered an actual tune instead of the ap?

yes i have, and do plan on getting one just not right now. Im going to wait until the car is "done" so i don't have to get it retuned every couple of weeks lol. Right now the ap is fine for intake/exhaust/intercooler. Once I'm past that I'm just going to stack the next round of parts in my room (20g,850cc's,external waste gate, walboro 255) and get it tuned when i install all of that. No need to pay twice imo.

So you're just using an off the shelf map that came with the ap?

feeling any noticable difference after the intake, and new ap map ?
something i just noticed. If your intake pipe was black, this would look like a stock sleeper engine bay lol

You could probably sell the ap and get a good open source tune that would be better setup for what you're running. Safer and make a bit more power. Take a look over at vdc's thread for his 11 wrx.

yea this is true, and I've considered it. i know i could sell my ap in a second for what i bought it for (i got it used). I'm actually having trouble finding a place to tune my car thats somewhat local.

Yeah I would imagine for where you are it's a couple hours to get to anyone.

Car looks really clean! I love the interiors of these cars, too so be sure to post some pics with the new gauge pod!
I agree that its never a bad idea to get a tune that's specifically for your car rather than a generic one.

Yeah I know how that is. You did name the two that are most popular with the people on here. I would say check with people who have the same car and similar setup that went with one of them and see how their excperience was.
