It seems as though there is a great group of gun owners here who are all itching to get together for an old fashioned group shoot. Only problem is that no one wants to take on the responsibility to actually put it together.

Don't have a gun? No problem. I'm willing to bet that there are plenty of forum members that would let you use one of theirs, provided you buy your own ammo.

This meet is in no way affiliated with TST and is not a official TST meet, simply a group of guys from TST who share the same hobby besides cars. I, nor any other member is responsible for your actions during this meet. I am simply a gun owner who is going to meet some new shooting buddies at CPI!

i asked about NFA just for you guys, they said just bring the papers and for us they will break their "cardinal rule" and you can bring the belt fed if you want... i would just say no 50bmg, if the lapua is no fun to shoot there i doubt the barrett would be.

if any of those dates work i need to let them know as well as a definite on who is in, i dont want them to shut down an entire room of bays for me and have 3 people show up.

Lets keep this fun and safe, i am a well respected member at CPI and want to keep it that way, so PLEASE NO ****ING AROUND.

please vote on a day and i will make the arrangements to have a room of bays set aside. Maybe post how many people your bringing and what firepower you will have with you.

i voted for 9/25 because its the day before my birthday. not like it matters, but yeah. lol. really though i'm down for any saturday, i just couldn't vote for all of them. i'm a 'definite' along with probably two of my friends.

I voted for 10/9 but I'll be there on any of the dates listed above except for the 2nd.

I will at least have my own stuff, maybe some more depending on which of my friends come.

PM me what a good "donation" towards ammo would be. I'm almost positive my Brother-in-law would be interested in coming also. He is in the same boat as me but has a lot more experience being a combat Vet. I'll vote once I know what days can do.

you can buy ammo there, to give you a rough idea a 50rd box of 45 is 20-25 dollars a 50rd box of 9mm is 12ish-15ish dollars. 223/556 is 10-15ish per 20 rds.

seems that not many people here want to come out and try something new. even if you're not into guns, this kind of range trip is always fun.

between the few that did vote and the extras that will be coming with each of us i think we have enough to put together a good group. since the votes are spread across the whole range of choices i say just pick a date and schedule it! i'm in no matter what.

i had a conversation with my boss at the end of the day and it looks as if he has already scheduled us for a car show appearance on Oct. 2nd so i won't be able to make it if it's that day.

i'm still trying to figure out why people are so into 'digitally' meeting up to play a video game (Forza thread) but aren't interested in going to a high quality indoor range to kill some paper with some of the most badass weapons out there. i mean sure, sitting on your ass clicking buttons is free but shooting is so much better!

guys, if i make it for 10/9 who can come? i see that 9/25 is the "most popular" but its cutting it too close for CPI. I can make the call later today if anyone else chimes in that 10/9 will work for them.
