G-Tech Pro

Does anything have any experience with the G-Tech Pro SS or RR...I was looking into the SS as maybe an idea for something for the gf to get for me for christmas or something. It's something I personally wouldn't buy myself but I think I would enjoy it if she got it for me. I was just wondering of any experiences that anyone has had with these and if it's even worth asking for.

I used to have it in my 3000gt vr4. It was cool for like the first day, after a while the suction cup goes bad though and you need to get a new one. They are like 30 bucks a pop.

It's not worth it imo, there are cheaper ones that work the same and their suction cups actually work a long time lol

I wasn't sure if it would be worth it or not...I think I would enjoy it but not sure if it would be worth the $200 to get...what are any other brands that do the same kind of thing?? (if you know of course)

Beltronics, Belkins, or a company that starts with a Bel lol, they make one that can be had for a lot cheaper. It won't look as pretty at night because the back doesn't illuminate like the g-tech but it does the job. Also these devices are always off, I would save your money and get something else.

Yeah they seem cool but they aren't that cool.

More of a PITA, for the money you save on not buying one you can get something 5 times as cool.
