I do I jut dont have a welder aha, the frame rails right under the side skirt?

lower rails near the very bottom of the a pillars and the engine bay around the lower rails...usually rots before the strut towers

Strut tower, frame rails, rocker panels, and the inside of the wheel arches. If they are clean, go for it.

check the trunk area also friend of mine bought a hatch s13 bought it home went to go look through the trunk only to find a mini lake in the tire well

s13 and s14 are not as light as a corolla or miata but I wouldnt say their heavy...

I'm thinking norristown is close to club looses track?, in that case your pretty lucky.

S chassis are light as hell. They feel like tin cans compared to anything else. I havent drifted an 86 or a miata ever mainly because I like long wheelbase cars. Short wheelbase cars are twitchy.

I do love this video. I've watched it a lot haha. I'm not far from englishtown but I wouldnt say close.

by a 240 rust or no rust doesnt matter. lil chassis flex doesnt hurt find parking lot clutch kit. done.

my first 240 had the worst rot ever. i still drifted, brought to club loose and crap.

put money into the suspension before the motor unless theres an issue with the current motor and trans.

but I think it needs a new motor before I start because not only is it auto but its got 220k, and a new 7m is basically a plug and play and then just reinforce the head studs and maybe a custom head gasket

Should've gotten a 5spd. I mean, you can practice in the wet with auto, but thats it really.

Its cool I was just about to post and ask the same question haha, I don't have a welded diff and you cant use vlsd so I don't think I'm allowed to participate but I'd like to go and watch. Maybe learn some things. Got the car running and inspected so I think the next step is to 5 speed swap it, I found a manual trans just looking for a drive shaft and a welded diff for cheap. I think I might just stick with the 7m because of the cost to swap then maintain the JZ engines, but I'm definitely going to do a gte swap and change the heads and main & rod bearings

Maintaining a 1J? You don't maintain them, they just don't break. Yeah, the twins go eventually, but would you rather have the expense of going single or headgaskets?

That second question isn't loaded, its seriously your call.
