Hmm well honestly I have to pull it off to replace the oil sending unit so I guess I can compare the pics once I remove it, but again going out on a limb, and with the eBay parts I'm guessing stock intake Mani.

Odds are you just have an LS1 intake. In 2001 they did away with the LS1 intake manifold all together, and every LS1 produced there after already came with the LS6 manifold (including F-body, GTO, etc...) The MAF, if properly tuned for it, should be alright, but I agree that the stocker is just fine for plenty of power. I'm H/C + 92/90 + bolt ons on the stock MAF too.

Well looking at the pictures posted, if the ls1 manifold is on the right then you have whats on the left, because I don't see a freeze plug right behind the throttle body on top. Just going by the picture.

Thats what we just cleared up. the ls1 intakes on the vette's didnt have a provision for the EGR cause they didnt have EGR like they did on the f-bodys, therefore it wouldnt have the hole there. so aslong as the intake wasnt swapped out, its a ls1 intake on his car. the pictures i posted are of a F-body ls1 intake more than likely...i just pulled them off google for a quick referance.

So car is all finished the inspection and oil change and everything checked out! So next on the list is ordering up the new brass headlight gear kit to repair the driver side motor and reinstall the stock headlights(thank God! Lol).
