Swift springs are definitely good, but its really mostly about the damper. I've got Eibach springs up front and Hyperco out back, and the guy that builds the coilovers has no problem mixing them and said he's done it for years.

Curious to see your impressions once you get them installed

I'll definitely post up a review once I get them on and get some miles on them!

Quick update: found a great deal on a set of 18x9.5 +45 SSR GTVO1s that I'm going to pick up Saturday and get hopefully get mounted up this weekend. Will post pictures once I have them. Also smaller updated, waiting for my JDM yellow overlays for my fog lights to get here. Expecting a solid 100hp gain from these. Each.

Not a huge fan of the wheels but once the coils are on, Id say a lip is the next "must".

I wasn't a huge fan of the five spoke on STI's until I saw those wheels in person on my local shop owners STI and fell in love with the look. After I get my adjustable rear control arms, and then fenders rolled a tad and get everything dialed in (only doing -2.5 on the rear wheels, I'm not doing anything insane lol) and the car dropped, an JNAPerformance Lip, Gorilla Forged Steel Neo Chrome lugs (My current ones are rusted and terrible looking) will be coming next and then will be doing my timing belt job. Good times haha

Quick Update before a more in depth one probably on Sunday:

Things are going to start rolling this weekend.

Fenders are getting rolled today along with my SPC Rear Camber & Toe arm kit and SPC camber bolts will be getting installed
Saturday my Coils will be going on
Awaiting shipment of-
BaysonR Front Lip
BaysonR A-Style Rear Lip Aprons,
Which should be here tomorrow!

And also got some Mutegi SR48 Torch Blue Lug nuts to replace the horrible looking ones that are on there.

Once all of that is done, the pre-emptive 100k mile upgrades/maintenance will be getting started-

Timing belt job
Fuku Works Turbo Inlet
Fuku Works Radiator Hoses
Mishimoto Performance Radiator
Grimmspeed 3-Port EBCS
Complete Fluid flush and refill
Exedy Stage 2 Clutch

Pictures from this weekend will be posted during/after its all said and done!

Does the STI actually need the toe arm stuff installed? I know the BRZ doesn't really need them and it uses the same rear camber arms, I believe (at least the WRX is the same, not 100% sure about the STI)

The BaysonR stuff will need to be flexed back to shape (assuming you got polyurethane) and their instructions about sitting it out in the sun work well. That's how I got mine fitting well.

My local shop that specializes in subarus told me in order to get the negative camber I will need for the 9.5in wide wheels with my coils I would need to get the kit. The one they recommended and I got is actually the BRZ one because like you said I guess they are perfectly interchangeable.

I had a BaysonR lip on my old 07 WRX, I didn't let it sit in the sun because I was impatient and ended up coming up short about a half inch on once side. Lesson was learned and wont be doing that again lol

lol no no, no slamming here. I'm going to be dropping it between an inch-inch and half all the way around so nothing too wild. Hopefully going to be starting in the next hour or so so pics should be coming by tonight!

Well another quick update. Went to install my coils last Friday and discovered that my local shop cross threaded my new lugs onto my studs after they installed my camber and toe kit, so dropping it back off today to get all of the studs and lugs replaced and then hopefully, HOPEFULLY, installing my coils this weekend instead..

Update.. Coils still aren't on. All of my studs got replaced and new lugs on, went to do the coils and one of my lower strut bolts was stripped beyond belief.. So now, am going to be contacting Subaru to see if I can order two (One for the stripped side, and a new one for the other just to be safe) and then hopefully will putting them on soon.. They are just sitting in my room, looking all pretty and such, waiting to be put on lol. So, couple pics of mine and a couple buddies WRXs from Import Face Off last weekend

However, some progress, did get my front lip and rear spats put on!

Front lip and rear spats look good. Car will definitely look better lowered Have you considered getting camber bolts instead of OEM replacements?

Well I have whiteline camber bolts for my front.. And for some reason never really put one and one together that they could also be used for my rears.. for the exact bolt that is stripped..

lol well, now probably going to be going that route instead.
