awsome cars. my buddy is pickin one up tomorrow and one will be in my garage this time next year if all goes according to plane (stupid house buying crap). i just could never get another black car again...after owning one. as i was finishing drying off the one side, id walk to the other side and it would be dusty allready...i would be like WTF!! badass color, just impossible to keep clean unless you stick it in a bubble and dont drive it.

congrats on the purchase...keep the shiney side up!!

Thank you for the kind words.

On another note, was at the track again today and ran into more issues.

Had a 1.9 60ft on the first run so my launch was better but the car fell on its face in the upper rpms, felt like a misfire. Awesome. There was also oil around my dipstick and the dipstick itself was raised up.

Second run I had no third again and then I stopped running, already cleaned clutch fluid and after the second run there was debri in the container.

I'm pretty frustrated right now and I'm just going to leave it sit till I can get an appt. at a local Corvette dealer.

I've tried the ranger method a few time since I've had my car. Really didn't do much for me. Probally gonna just dump the money on a Tick master, slave, and remote bleeder when my clutch does go. Hit 70k the other day so why know how much longer.

This week alone I went through almost 1/2 gallon of fluid over a few days. Pedal still sticks to the floor after a few agressive shifts until I pump a few times.

Guess it's just the awesome reality of being a Vette owner. My car only has 15k miles on it.

Going to do some diagnostics on it Friday and try to determine what it is, drove it all weekend with no issues but I also wasn't up in the RPMs in 2/3rd gear when it happened before.

I'm hoping its something simple like spark plugs.

Well it must have just been a hick up, or the car was too hot and pulled timing at the track because the cars been running fine and pulling hard ever since. Still going to change the plugs and oil just to make sure.

Picture for the hell of it.

sweet grab !

once you add the common bolt ons, you are gonna be stupid happy lol. My boss owns a 07' Base C6 im guessing with an intake / x-pipe / corsa exhaust, and it sounds nasty !!!!!

just curious have you seen any increase in your MPG ??? I feel bad cause Im driving a 13' Ram 1500 and get like 12 mpg running around DelCo. Thought a car like that would be doing a little better then me atleast.

Thanks man, headers/X pipe and a intake will net right around 500rwhp, in a 3150lb car. And as for the mpg...if I drove it a little more civilized, yes. But do I....no, not at all lol.

Just some new pics, car will be going in a garage on Oct. 1st and over winter i will be buying ZR1 rims with Nitto Invos 285/30 front and 335/25 rear for next summer along with ZR1 CF side skirts and front lip. Also will be lowering the car slightly on stock bolts and possibly replacing the ceramic brake pads with something a little more steetable.

I think prices will drop. The C7 is a really good car. The C5 and C6 are too but def not the same class of car.

I'd imagine that the prices will come down, I'm not at fan of the C7s, but I love the interior. That's about it.

The C7s are heavier, looks are subjective and it's not all that much faster than the LS3 C6 vettes. Ill def be keeping my C6Z for a long time.
