I was debating picking one of these up and after hearing that vid and thinking of how my car would sound as well as feel it's tempting. I've just heard of a bunch of problems with the turbo on dsm forums so far so i'm gonna hold out a while longer.

Every single srt sounds like it is running open downpipe lol..Couldn't really hear the turbo in the video except through the exhaust..

I personally run a Borg Warner/ Schwitzer unit in my car as well as numerous people have/had. Carl has one on the race car, Tort has one, Steve had one before selling the car, and I have one. We have had nothing but good runs outta them. Ask Petey about it.

They make some power.

Yea i remembered that its what your running, and you told me about the run in with Petey lol.

Like i said I'm gonna hold out a little longer but it is a badass setup so we will see.

Uh that was a cool video of the one wheel spinning and all, but I couldn't read anything on the dyno sheet at the end.

Does anyone have number for this car? Also what size Garrett turbo is it comparable to?

BTW all I hear in the SRT videos is turbo noise coming from the open sounding exhaust..That does not qualify..You need to run boost to hear it sounding like it will suck you through the hood not no daisycake 20 psi

It just sounds like an external dump fart

Bullseye sells the BW turbo's with their turbine housing for quicker spool. The first vid that pete posted was wit a H1E on a 14cm housing (.80-.90 a/r), that thing didnt hit full boost till 7k. The second video is with the BW S256 in a t3 .70 a/r housing...that thing is tits.
