Do you use a lens filter? manipulate the colors in photoshop? I've been trying to get this vivid and subtle color effect for a while, maybe its just my camera.

I use a curves adjustment layer. You can create this look with two points...one in the mid/high range and one near the shadows, to create an S-curve. If you really want to get crazy with the colors and do some manual cross-processing, go through the various color channels under curves and pull and push the various colors to give it a cross processed look.

Hope you don't mind that I took one of your shots to illustrate this. Btw, your photography looks great.
