Garage space heaters?

I am looking at a couple of garage heaters and cant find the one that suits me so I am coming to you guys. I have a 24x24x10 garage and the kero heater just does not cut it and a turbo heater is a pia. Lol. I would perfer a electric heater that I can ceiling mount or high wall mount out of the way. I have 115 in the garage right now, but can look into running 220 if necessary. It does not have to be super huge and heat in a minute, but better than my kero heater taking an hour or so. Lol. Let me know what you guys have.

DUDE, if you have room for one, get a pellet stove or wood burner. It costs a lot less to feed.

Only if you have room to store the pellet fuel/firewood of course.

Yea, I have the room and I have the glass window wood burner already accessable. Lol. I just bet I would have to fireproof a ton of stuff according to inspectors in my area and to be insurance compliant. The walls are not insulated yet. I think the long term heat will be the wood burner for sure.

Sucks bc I would of recommended the torpedo heaters. I am in a shop that we can fit 10-12 cars and we run 2 heaters and it makes it comfortable.

My first thought was infrared heaters. I've never owned any, but shops I've been in that had them were very comfortable, heaters are quiet, and mount high up out of the way. Here's a decent sunmmary: http://www.ultimategarageheater.com/...age-heater.php

Pellet stove exhaust pipes don't get as hot as a normal stove pipe.

The stove throws most of the heat into the room.

Our exhaust goes right through tongue & groove wood paneling & it never even gets warm.

x3, a little insulation goes a long. long way. A buddy just sealed up all the lower leaks in his garage and it raised the temp 4-5 degrees. He's working on insulating all the walls, with one complete already.
It also holds the summer heat a whole lot better though.
