You sir are an idiot. Those are air scoops for the intake which are actually functional.

Maybe, but those 19" LMs are about 1200 dollars a wheel.

Could VERY well be fake. It's very hard to tell the diff between fake and real LM's. I was parked right next to this car in Newtown on Thanksgiving Eve and it looked like a PILE OF **** lol. Dirty as hell...bumper stickers on it.....I'v seriously never seen a worse example of an E39 M5 LOL.

My M3 was pretty much the same as a M5....and I got beat by one of those SRT jeeps before. They can move pretty good.

LOL @ this thread.

To answer some questions...
The LMs are real.
It's driven like hell cross country once a year and is tracked so yes, it's not concours clean.
That's a photo of it on the Bonneville Salt flats. I know many car "entusiasts" (pussies) would never even think about doing something like that. I mean, omg, it might looke like a PILE OF **** afterwards. hahahaha.
And I would never compare this to an M5 unless I knew absolutely nothing about cars and only had experience with low end machines.
btw, I think srtgr8t dude is having a little fun at your expense . Speaking of which, how are the turbos on the cayenne holding up?

Low end machines? You basically just insulted the whole forum as we cannot afford more expensive cars. Good job.

A E39 is not even an expensive car anymore. You can get one for less than 20k. My brother dumped his 1000hp E39 M5 for a measly 40k.

Not to say that they'r not awesome cars...cause they are. But the last time I saw this one I laughed cause it looked so bad.

+1 for you man for driving the car the way its meant to be driven.

too many people think their cars are too valuable to be used. Its just a car at the end of the day, I love my vehicles too but seriously why own something that is used for nothing but some hard parking. I agree completely with diablesse on this one.

Bring on the snow today, my vette is anxious.

I bet it made you feel so much better about yourself too. What did you get into and drive away in that night?
