Oh, I just re-read that.... no, the new Recon 1's do not have that switch. The G10's have a better handle though and they ride lower in your pocket.

I'm late to the party but yes thats normal for a Glock. I think both of mine are that way, Gen 3 and 4.

Wear on a Glock just gives you more street cred. It's normal.

Last night was the first time I detail stripped the frame on my Glock. Surprised how easily everything came out and went together. Also installed the new trigger and trigger bar, makes the trigger pull much nicer. I might experiment with a few different connectors in my 26 to lighten up for SD.

I was a little scared the first time I took mine apart, but with about 1000 YouTube videos of how to do it,it's hard to mess it up.

Have you done the 25 cent trigger job? Not much of a lighter trigger but I've noticed a crisper break in the point where it fires.

Also I bought another Glock today. Gen 4 with night sights.

After a 6+ month wait I just picked up my S&H Sear gun. I'm pretty happy with it. Seller stated it only had a few mags through it. After picking it up I can see he wasn't kidding. 5 minutes after having it home I have already swapped out the trigger housing. Yes I know it's an older conversion (no paddle mag or 3 lug). However, I have a super mint MP5 F parts kit I might use to convert it it over. I am trying to decided if I should go that route or just slap a 3 lug and paddle mag release. I also have a KAC RAS w/Aimpoint waiting to go on.

With my little brother's Dakota Tactical D54 Navy w/fleming sear & SWR Trident 9

Took my newest addition out the range as well at my G19 (just got some parts in from Glock to freshen it up) and the G34. Pales in comparison to what Philly was doing tho

The only good thing about waiting 6 months for a firearm is you end up stocking up on "mods & mags". This is how my mp5 now looks...

Out of curiosity, how much does an MP5 cost?

well it depends, this is a sear gun with a registered sear. sear alone have been selling for 12.5/15k. Registered boxes have been selling for 15k. A hk mp5 sear gun without sear in sbr form go for 5000-7000 depending on who did the conversion. Now a registered receiver guns have been going for 13000-15000, a little lower due to not being able to remove the sear/conversion piece. And last a registered receiver gun with a double push pin, realest conversion to a Real hk mp5 go for 18000 to 20000+. I have never seen a real mp5, but have been told there is a few out there. Those guns I would see going for over 30k. Best bet is to buy a sear already in a host gun, Then your only paying 2-3 grand if that on the host gun. I will say my brother was looking for one for awhile, Hk sears/registered boxes are the hot thing right now in the nfa world, They have been selling like crazy lately unless people are asking a crazy price, which I have seen.

because they can't be made anymore for public sales, prices will never fall unless they change the 1986 machine gun ban. When my father was a ffl dealer he told me the only difference from a semi colt ar15 and a colt m16 was the 200 dollar tax stamp and paper work, price was the same on the gun. No one back then really wanted to spend that 200 bucks, now and days a semi colt ar15 cost 1000? a factory colt m16 sells for 15000k
