Thoughts on UV windshield film?

What do you think about this film? Does it really block out that much heat as llumar's site claims? Also, is it noticable and legal in NJ?
Thanks

no film on the windshield is legal, even if its clear...but you can get a doctors note for the uv protection...the problem comes when changing stickers on the front..

All i know is, using Lumar on my last car (except the windshield obviously) made it about 75% cooler in the summer time. Also dramatically reduces glare and sunflare while driving. My $.02, tint is a no-brainer, every car should have UV-protectant tint.
