hey all..

taking my girlfriend up to the poconos this weekend for her birthday.. looking for some suggestions of stuff to do for a few hours before we check in at 3pm on saturday.. so ..daytime stuff...

was thinking a hike through bushkill falls but somehow its apparantly 40 min from our hotel,.. and 20 min longer to drive to initially then the hotel.. so an extra hour of driving. its still a possibility but if i find something fun thats closer im all for it.

just throw anything out and ill check to see how far from the hotel it is

Nice hotel, I book alot of those for my clients. I just figured everyone loves the ceasars couples resort up there. They made some new resort with a waterpark inside of it, I think it's for younger demographic though.

cool, comfort inn sounded pretty nice and like a hundred bucks cheaper than ceasars so i couldnt justify the extra cost. i checked out the place with the waterpark but like you said it looks like its more for families, and you have to stay at the hotel to use the park.. about $250-300 a night.

Yes I know all about the pricing out there, very expensive lol. Ceasars has one of the nicest couples resorts around though, very romantic lol. You will have fun at the comfor inn, check at the front desk and they should be able to tell you many things you can do.

Yeah id say thats about it. My parents have a place in tobyhanna (sp) and its so beat up there. Theres camaelback but im sure theyre closed

Take pics of the hottub. lol. I have stayed there in the hottub comfort inn. You could imagine what I did in there. lol. I have also stayed at ceasars. Nothing beats the 7 foot tall hottub.

Ha, I have a cabin in the poconos and the only thing I do (in the summer) is drink beer, fish or ride dirtbikes.
