Oh yeah, I had a single JL 10" in a JL designed bandpass box for YEARS. That thing was a beast but eventually the box developed leaks and the sub blew. Now I have an alpine twin 12" setup that has the gain set to maybe 1/4... I can't stand much higher than that. I don't like it when you can feel your hair moving (a lot) from the pressure. It's funny too, the amp is tiny and has more power than enormous amps we had when I was younger.

The website I ordered my subs from doesn't seem to good. I put the order in last Friday, I received a confirmation E-mail. I checked my CC statement, they charged me twice, I already called my CC and made a claim. Now I read reviews online that they charge you and never ship the items and getting a refund is impossible. I sent them an E-mail and haven't heard anything back. Their website states that it may take a few days to ship if you got the free shipping, but I didn't get free shipping so there shouldn't be any excuse.

i've been in a 3 month ordeal to exchange a ****ing lamp that was supposed to have a glass shade but it is plastic. I now have a lawyer standing by if there are problems with the exchange. Which there are. I paid $314.28 for a lamp, their RMA states a $300 refund to be used towards an exchange. They say the 14.28 is the fee for shipping, even though their customer service rep said there was no fee for return shipping. (granted he's never stood by his word before, hence the 3 months so far) I find it funny that the fee to ship just so happens round the exchange cost down to $300 even. I'm going to ask to see the receipt for the shipping to verify since i am paying that fee.

But all in all, I just want this ****ing over!!!

Ouch. I hope this doesn't happen with me, otherwise I will just get my money back and let the CC company deal with it and do business else where.

Grimm, remember that story I told you about the Weld Wheels. Still not seeing them and back in early February is when I was supposed to receive them by Fedex. Dude has refunded all my money at this point we both realize we will never see the wheels again. This is the biggest joke I've ever dealt with with Fedex.

Yea Rob, I don't know how you were so patient and dealt with it so well, granted the seller at least was a good guy and did the right thing in the end, but that was a long time coming. My problem is, this company has never stood by their word, i had to call the manufacturer and have them call the retailer to get this "jump started". Everything this company does is deceiving. If they are charging me $14.28 for shipping, then state that on the form, don't show some arbitrary rounded off number that i have no idea where it came from? At this point i don't care, I'll pay the shipping cost, I just want the ordeal to be over. (Which in the end i know i will be screwed and sent damaged products since the RMA states the returned merchandise as a final sale.)
sucks to know your getting screwed and there's not much you can do unless you can invest a lot of time.

Dang Grimm that just sucks big time. Good business will always get you more, but doesn't look like this company will get any from you down the road.

Got an E-mail from the company I ordered speakers through.

"This email has been sent to inform you that your order, #110233, has been updated to a status of Declined."

Didn't say why or anything, just declined it and refunded me my money. Oh well, I will take my business elsewhere.

wish i got an email like that followed by a refund. the light company has returned my email from yesterday or today. so i will probably have to call them which is going to raise my blood pressure and then i probably won't have an appetite again tonight. Big Jim, wanna make some money resolving this issue for me. ;)

Yeah I guess I got lucky. I did call my CC company as soon as they charged me twice and made a claim. The claim representative said that if nothing happens after 3 days then I will get refunded and they will take action. Well it has been 3 days, not sure if the bank took over or what but at least I got my money back and now placed an order for speakers I found on sale that are better than what I had ordered originally.
