Car is looking great! I'm sure it feels good to have it back after that mess. How did the repairs go?

Nothing will ever be 100% factory again, but as a whole, it's OK. Not perfect, but oh well. I smash the car into cones and ****, whatever.

Yeah, true. Especially if you keep it for a few years to let the value hit wear off a little bit with the depreciation mix.

Glad you got it back....that did take awhile.

Autocross with NNJR SCCA at MetLife stadium in the Meadowlands. I ran Pro class and finished up a solid 6th overall and 6th in class. The car felt great, but not quite perfect. I might trim the front bumpstops a bit to get a bit better steady state cornering performance.

Here's my run:

Having (still) never been to an AutoX event I love watching your videos. Seems you were smoother than your codriver- interesting how you’re able to maintain speed so well. They consider an E30 a momentum car, seems the Miata is a similar beast.

Also...... that shifter movement is nuts. I can’t imagine what that’d look like in a well used AutoX car.

Miata is most definitely a momentum car and my codriver was actually carrying good mid corner speed but really scrubbing the front tires to do it. Thanks for watching!

Wheel hop is a bitch on the new Miatas. The motor mounts appear to be made of foam and the diff mounts have more air than rubber.

Here's a couple of videos of the launch:

I wanted to go to this but was cooking all day for a BBQ on Sunday. You'll have to let me know next time you do a run at the Meadowlands, I am right down the street. Maybe one day I will autocross the Juke...

I'll let you know! Juke is A-OK to autocross if it's lowered, I'm not sure if a stock Juke is too rollover prone or not, they have fairly strict rules for that. My dad has had his Fiesta ST on two wheels before...

Plus a Fiat 500 Abarth did this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TI4z-ZaHV_o

It’s lowered. Pretty sure all my mods on it would bump me up a few classes lol.

Yeah I was fairly sure yours was lowered. You'd be in SMF, which is where my GTI was. Fun class, but no way to be extremely competitive so it's just for fun.

4th in PAX & 1st in CS for me. My codriver was 9th in PAX & 2nd in CS.

Here's my fastest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQk9vxmqfjc

My last run, really fast besides one really obvious, painful mistake: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFF0pozQ39M

I pulled off my first PAX win in the Miata! My codriver, Jon Caserta, was 2nd in PAX! Small gap too, only 57 thousandths of a second.

Here's Jon's fastest run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwFV3fMmzyQ

Here's my fastest clean run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NyHsoWNwU_o

and my fastest dirty run (about four tenths faster and way prettier looking): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0q9VrB2ol3k

I won C Street at the 2019 Toledo ProSolo and I was also top qualifier for Super Challenge. Weather heavily impacted the event, unfortunately.

Here's a playlist of Jon's videos & mine of our fastest runs: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...xvG08UNJHERF_T

Congrats on the win and the top qualifier. Look like you pretty much destroyed CS.

Yeah... Jon ran faster times in the rain on Contis than he did in the damp on Bridgestones on Saturday AM. My Saturday AM runs were damn near fully dry, CS 2nd drivers ran like 45 minutes after the rest of CS

Pretty silly but I'll take my 20 points and contingency bucks and move on. Thanks though!

I finished up winning my class. I was 2nd in PAX on Saturday and 4th in PAX on Sunday.

Here's my Saturday run (I was a little bit surprised by my time when I finished my run, haha): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w899b3_HLnQ

Here's my Sunday run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfVguQYQKhU

My codriver Jon finished 2nd in class after struggling on Saturday, but pushing me hard on Sunday.

Here's Jon's Saturday video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzmTvqx6QdQ

Here's Jon's Sunday video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPgvq8YiPY0
