Oh ok cool. I should post here before I go down and actually know to look for some of the people from the forum.

Regarding my car- yeah I picked it up a few months ago and did a few basic mods (intake, pulley, tune) and got some decent numbers out of it. I'm planning on some stuff that should seat me in the 11's by the end of spring. Hope to see you guys at the track! KIT

maybe shift a little earlier, you might be running out of power that high up in your rpm range. I banged out my fasts time shifting about 700 rpms sooner because my turbo was running out of power up top with my mods.

I agree shifting at redline or after is not always the fastest way down the 1/4.

Back on topic...........nice times and killer reaction time.

is that quick for an r32? i dont know much about em. seems pretty lackluster... i bet if you cut the 60' down to like a 1.7 you could drop a couple tenths.

Its pretty good considering they claim 250 crank hp from the factory and weighs in around 3500lbs before driver.

Her r32 would beat a stock GTI no problem...modded, well thats a different story. It doesnt take much to make a turbo car faster, the R32s tend to be more expensive to mod where as we can throw a chip and an intake on and make 50 more HP

What's the benefit of the R32 over the GTi- awd?

AWD, 3.2L v6 engine,45 more bhp, better brake kit, the rest comes down to better interior quality and looks. however, as stated earlier, GTI's are much easier to mod.

and nice times, i would deff. pick up an .:R if they brought over a M/T version
