So went to maple grove atlest expecting to run 17s

Man my eclipse with just a catback and intake + a tune ran 17.1 out of 5 runs that was the best one. 18's sound about right for a cavi

Depends on the motor too. But the 18s dont help anyway. Buddy of mine ran about that w/ his old 2.2ohv Cav. as well, auto trans.

Maybe could of down low 17's if i didnt have full trunk / full gas , and was able to get it to stop wheel hopping

Kiro, what motor is in it? Also, for your car, its not gonna matter how much gas is in it, its still gonna be slow (mine is worse, dont worry).

Also, any mods to it to make more power? And to cure wheel hopping, get TTR Mounts. helps a lot

Don't worry about it, no one runs the times they should on that day. Unfortunately street tire only events leave the asphalt very slippery.

I never made it down because I woke up at 6am and it was raining so I went back to sleep.

got ecotec ? i know a rod shop that deals in ECO parts now, im gonna be gettin some good for my cavi and i hope i can get it in the 13's ill be happy with just 13 sec. runs

If its the OHV, look into an Eco swap... shouldnt be too hard to find a solid motor.

Grab some whiteout, do away with the "1" ... 8.42 @ 73mph or something, right? Tell everyone you let off and coasted at the end, that's why the trap is so low.
