Holy Crap is that ridiculous.
I cant believe how much has been done and is still being done. I have an addiction.

We are converting the car to be a 6 speed using a GTO T56 transmission, custom clutch, adapter and backbone.
This will make first gear useable again. With the 5 speed its so short the instant the turbo kicks in I need to shift
You the first of the bunch to get the T56 done?
This is what my Sky hopes to be like one day lol, slowly but surely!

I'll always be envious my friend haha

Its almost a full love or hate thing. They are very functional though as i would hit my driver door on my workbench without them. I am probably going to be hating them when I start driving again. I just had surgery on my left hip. Hopefully that doesn't make it a nightmare to get in and out of until I'm fully healed.

I believe so, but thats no different than the BNR 2871 Turbo. I think I was the 5th installation of one of those

Thanks. I was really surprised at how hard her death hit me. Turns out I bonded with her as much as she did with me.

My car is currently at DDM. The T56 is all part of the upgrades. We are also going to be testing a GTX2867 to see if that has any gains over the GT2871 Turbo. In theory it should spool quicker than the 2871 and push more air up top.

There is a members journal section of the site that would be good to swap your build thread over to.

Wow, I have not posted on here forever.
So the engine build did not go as well as planned. I chased some demon's for a couple of years and finally the timing chain broke and took out the top of the engine and 2 cylinder walls cracked.
I briefly contemplated dropping a 2Jz in it, but then I had a crazy little car catch my eye.
As such, I sold the sky with a blown engine.

On top of Car troubles, I had 3 more surgeries on my hips. The FAO surgeries were successful, but the hip sockets were destroyed and I felt like I was walking on broken glass. Only option was to replace both hips. I am now a partial robot.

I sold the Jeep because I could not 4wheel anymore and took some time off to heal.

But Fear Not, I am doing well now and seriously upped my car game.
I managed to buy back my 2006 Buell Lightning Bolt.
The wife drives a Ford Focus RS
and my current car is...............
A 2016 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider

We also adopted 2 retired Greyhounds.

I need a new photo hosting site and then I will create a member journal
For now, you can click on the link in my signature to check out RYUK.

Thanks. I uploaded all my pertinent photos to there and will go back and fix some broken links as well as create a Member Journal.

As for the 4C. I love it. It's literally the most affordable Super Car out there. The company that makes the Carbon Fiber Tub for McLaren, makes the tub for the 4C. It is then shipped to Italy where they put the car together by hand.

It's super light and super fast.
To compare it to my Sky, My best and last Dyno was 380HP and 390TQ car.
The 4C has 237HP and 258TQ at the engine and is quicker.
Stock 0-60 in 4.1 seconds with an insane dual clutch setup that upshifts in 120ms.

Here is a teaser pic before I create the Member Journal
